A feel at home kind of hotel. The owner, Fr. Lauer and her family, will make sure of that. Beginning with an opulent breakfast that included all kinds of delicious breads, dairy, meats and even smoked salmon and trout to personally driving us to the next relevant train station. Finding connecting transportation (bus,taxi) got us to where we where going (IFFA) with no hassle. Coming back exhausted, it was a pleasure to relax in the beergarden of the adjacent restaurant for delicious home cooked style dinner and a fresh beer. Close to Frankfurt but far from the hassle of a big city it truly felt like home away from home....

We had a great stay at Hotel Lauer while visting the Frankfurt area in July 2018. Ms. Lauer was an excellent host and the stay was more like a personalized B&B than a hotel. The location is outside of Frankfurt and worked extremely well as a base for out visit to the Rhein valley as well as Frankfurt and the local surroundings. We used a car for all of our travel, but the hotel is close to the local train station so travel options are easy. All amenities, wifi and the freshly prepared breakfast were excellent.
