Tambach Seminar Center, Berghotel Tambach — Hotel in Tambach-Dietharz

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful little village in the heart of Germany, surrounded by astounding forests. The staff is helpful to a fault, the food delicious, even the alternatives of restrictive diets which are all taken into account, and the rooms are a delight to sleep in. The only shock was having to eat dinner at 6p.m. but there were solutions for if you were peckish after 8. The facilities are equipped with everything one might need, including oft used foosball and ping pong tables, swings and a trampoline which must have felt lonely in the cold damp weather. The conference rooms all have a different design which makes each of them unique, and they are named after historical figures of the Bahá'í faith. Berghotel is amazing place to stay!

Meals were diverse and delicious. There were always salads, soups, meals with vegetables and/or meet (beef or chicken) and sauce for lunch and dinner. For dinner, there was always nice desserts. For breakfast, there were always sweet(jam, muesli etc.) and savory (boiled eggs or omelet, bread, different types of cheese and sausages/salami etc.) options available. In breaks between main meal courses we had tea and coffee with fruits or cakes.

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Looks like everything is quite new and refurbished. Good sound isolation, heating can be easily regulated.

Seminar rooms are spacious, have a lot of light and very good equipped with white boards and flipcharts.

Having stayed for a week on several occasions over a 15 year period I am already longing to return to the beautiful setting of this amazing gem of a hotel. Peaceful and relaxing location with wonderful walks all around, situated on top end of a sweet German village. The very helpful staff in Reception and the Restaurant make you feel sincerely welcome and looked after, even the owners mingle and enquire how you are enjoying your meal! An excellent venue for meetings, conferences and seminars, easily accessible by car from most of Europe, when you need to offer employees / participants that special "retreat" feeling - will make them feel valued!
