Hotel Wanderlust — Hotel in Vereinbarte Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Gernsbach

As others have mentioned, a poor check in experience. In my case it resulted in my disabled friend and elderly mother-in-law being denied access to the hotel due to being delayed following an incident in Heidelberg. When my friend who made the booking explained the situation, the owners (who would not give their name) said that it was not their problem and claimed that Heidelberg was 2 hours away (this is false, it’s approximately an hour away according to Google maps). They refused to allow the four of us to arrive late despite the exceptional circumstances, leaving all of us stranded with nowhere to sleep. They have to date provided a derisory €9 refund with no explanation on how they have arrived at this figure given that the cost of the booking was €246!

As you can imagine, this continued dispute and complete lack of discretion or empathy demonstrated by Saeed and Marianne Habibzadeh towards a disabled man is having a detrimental impact on his mental health and well-being which is already in a fragile state. My elderly mother-in-law was also traumatised by this experience.
