Schwarzwald Camping — Hotel in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Altensteig

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Treated like unuseful things.... We arrived on saturday and payed for two nights; I asked if we could renew for more nights and the lady told me that I could come on monday morning: I had time until 12 to renew for our pitch. Monday morning NOBODY WAS AT THE RECEPTION at 10:30 nor at 11:30; tried to call their number three times and NOBODY ANSWERED!! I saw a camping employee and explained the situation and that my intention was to renew for two more nights and with his almost non-existent english (nobody there speaks more than two words...) said ok no problem you do that this afternoon.... We left for a trekking and in the afternoon the receptionist stopped me saying that I could only pay that day and had to leave in the morning because our pitch has been given away to other people SUNDAY AFTERNOON!!! Kind of incredibly rude and unprofessional; DESPITE FULL AVAILABILITY OF PITCHES, she took a reservation for mine and she didn't even suggested to relocate us. TOTALLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. They evidently wanted us out of there...we travelled hundreds of campings in years and never never never seen something similar. The awfullest thing: while I was at the reception somebody with evident ss like attitude went to see my wife and kids and was literally like: TOMORROW OUT !!! I repeat: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They don't want us and we don't need...

Decent campground with nice facilities. There is plenty of tent camping spaces. There are water spigots scattered throughout the campground. There is a small hut with food and snacks. The biggest downside or complaint were the other campers. The men next to us were too lazy to walk to the bathroom and continued to relieve themselves in the wood line next to our campsite. Where they were peeing was also within a couple meters of the water spigot. The same men the next morning woke the entire campsite up with blaring music and yelling at the top of their lungs. They were completely inconsiderate of everyone else at the campground. There is a fishery about 300 meter from the campground that you can fish without a German fishing permit. The staff will provide the instructions and tell you about the different ponds they have. You pay per kilo depending on the type of fish. The staff will gut or fillet the fish for you for a small fee. It’s great for kids that want to catch and grill their fish over a campfire. Wir waren über pfingsten 2 tage dort ,check in ging recht flott , allerdings war zu spüren ,dass der betrieb noch in der anfangsphase war ,wegen der pandemie ,empfang war freundlich .mit unserem m kastenwagen ging es in eine geteerte einbahstrasse ,für uns gut zufahren , vorbei an den dauercampern ,über eine brücke ,man kann stehen wo man will hiess es die plätze sind nicht parzelliert .gut,wir stellten uns direkt ans wasser,da hatten unsere kinder für uns freigehalten .das sanitärgebäude lag direkt vis a vis ,allerdings gab es da keine brücke .der platz war gut belegt ,wenn man am wasser steht muss man schon damit rechnen ,das es recht laut ist und viel verkehr ist .hunde sind an der leine erlaubt,der platz ist nicht riesig und übersichtlich ,im hinteren teil gibt es eine spielplatz und tt -platte .sanitär war sauber ,bis auf den ausguss für chemietoiletten ,das kreide ich aber den campern an ,nicht den betreibern .spülen nur 2 personen im raum (corona )in den gebäuden maskenpflicht ,haben sich alle daran gehalten..schöner biergarten am eingang mit gegenübergelegenen 2 trampolinen für kinder ,genial für die eltern ,self service am kiosk recht chaotisch , möglicherweise weil alles noch nicht eingespielt. Speisen nur über mittag und in den abendstunden ,leider kein lädelchen , fürs allernötigste,aber brötchenservice ,brötchen eine sensation ! Liste liegt im biergarten aus ! Wasseranschluss war bei und überm weg ,ok,wir haben mit kanister nachgefüllt.geht ! Grauwasserablass vor dem platz,müllentsorgung auch ,ein stück zum laufen ,camping halt .fischweiher in normalzeiten 5 min . gehweg , wir mussten halt aussenrum... super mit kiosk und snacks take away moderate preise ,forellen und andere fische,gebäude wo sie maschinell ausgenommen werden , kilo 8 euro .wlan gibts wohl gegen aufpreis .das städchen altensteig liegt 5 min. mit dem auto entfernt , wunderschönes altstädchen mit schlösschen ,empfehlenswert !urige restaurants und im neuen teil genug einkaufsmöglichkeiten . Für 2 nächte24 euro mit 2 pers.camper und hund bezahlt ,normal 28 euro..warum wissen wir nicht gab halt rabatt ! Fazit :wer keinen super luxus erwartet ist hier gut aufgehoben ,für kinder das flüsschen der hotspot ,wer ohne eigenes wc reist ,der wird viel laufen...ein kleiner shop wäre nicht ungeschickt , uns hats gefallen .
