Hotel Krone Überlingen am Ried — Hotel in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Singen (Hohentwiel)

I have been to thousands of hotels but this one is really outstanding although it's "only" a three star hotel. Starts with arrival time. I didn't know when I would come and although they have only six rooms and there is of course not someone the whole night at reception they were very flexible and even when I called them to tell them that I would be 30 minutes later and would arrive only at 11.30 pm they were fine with that and very friendly.||The owner helped me to carry my luggage to my room which is also not common standard for a three star hotel.||Room was phantastic. Hardwood floor as requested, nice big balcony with seating possibilities for two, mini bar, enterance area for luggage and clothes. Big bathroom, the room was also very big, mattresses were great, even a complimentary bottle of water. Nice view from the windows, heating that could be adjusted easily and really worked (in some hotels you turn the heating on and nothing happens) immediately, good water pressure in the shower and phantastic breakfast with great croissants. Even a nice greeting card on the table inserted in a little crown to make you feel like a little prince. These people absolutely know how to make a guest feel comfortable. Absolutely fabulous!...

The Hotel Krone is located in the village of Überlingen. It is actually a bed and breakfast pension and does not have a restaurant. The hotel has 8 rooms, which are new, well-appointed and comfortably furnished in a modern design. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. A Nespresso machine is in the room. The bath room is bright and clean. || The breakfast room is inviting with white dressed tables. The breakfast is generous. Egg dishes are freshly prepared. The hotel is a quiet location, except of the church bells. ||Free parking is available behind the building. The garden is large and well maintained. Unfortunately, no restaurant was opened in the village. A small grocery store is located 50 metres from the hotel. ||The Hotel Krone is a nice hotel that I can recommend. War das erste Mal in diesem Hotel und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. |Parkplatz Einfahrt habe ich zuerst verpasst, aber man kann ja wenden. |Elegant ein mal das Haus umrundet beim Eingang suchen. Wäre ein schmaler Fußweg da gewesen, in den Innenhof. |An der Anmeldung war ein Mobilteil auf der Theke mit einer Mitteilung, bitte anrufen, sind im Haus unterwegs. |Hat funktioniert, kurz darauf war ein freundlicher Herr zur Stelle. Eingecheckt. |Er hat mich auf mein Zimmer geführt welches im 2.OG lag. |Zimmer war modern eingerichtet. Flat TV, Minibar, Doppelbett, Balkon und geräumiges Bad mit Wanne. |Sehr sauber alles. Im Bad diverse Pflegeprodukte in kleinen Gebinden für den Gebrauch. Für Personen mit gefärbtem Haar extra ein dunkles zusätzliches Handtuch. Sonstige Handtücher in Standard Weiß. |Eine Flasche Wasser war frei zum Genuss, nebst zwei kleinen Schokoherzen. ||Doppelbett habe ich nur einseitig benutzt, es war angenehm und nicht durchgelegen. Konnte sehr gut schlafen. Daher hat mich der mit Pixelfehlern behaftete TV bei den privaten Programmen nicht weiter gestört. Komischer weise die öffentlichen funktionierten tadellos. ||Beim sehr reichhaltigen Frühstück würde jeder Gast gefragt ob er Eier möchte und wie? Rührei, Spiegel etc. |Sehr sehr freundlich die Dame. ||Beim Checkout wurde noch ein mal nachgefragt ob alles ok war, mein TV Problem wurde mit Bedauern notiert. ||Werde das Hotel bei Gelegenheit wieder besuchen. ||Abendessen außer Haus nur möglich, man kann sich dabei die Füße vertreten.
