JOTT | Hotel DVD — Hotel in Wolfsburg

This hotel is really trying hard, but some minor tweaks to the rooms could add to everything else it has going for it, to make it a great place to stay.||The rooms have a very unique, cool layout which was interesting and refreshing. The bed was very comfortable, the wi-fi connection good, and there was a decent sized television. The main issue I had was that the room was extremely dark, even with all of the lights on. If you're just hanging out, or on a romantic getaway, it would not be a problem, but the lack of light made getting work done challenging. One main light added to the room would really help.||The other item of concern was the shower. Although the shower had deep side walls, it was still open-ended and preventing splatter onto the room floor was almost impossible.||The last item was very minor, but the hangers were directly over the shelf where you would place your suitcase. It made it impractical to hang clothes and open your suitcase there. ||The Hotel Jaeger did have a lot of positives on top of the fact that it was a great value. First, the staff were all very, very nice and made you feel welcome.||There were no issues with parking and the breakfast was impressive, far exceeding my expectations. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good.||If the rooms were a little brighter, I would not hesitate to stay there again when...

Very warm greeting. Hotel is extremely clean and efficiently run. We stayed as a family to visit The Autostadt. Upon arrival we were told that they had two wedding parties that evening but it was no trouble at all to fit us in for dinner. A separate room for dinner was laid out and there were some other hotel guests present. The waitress was extremely helpful and highly efficient. Bearing in mind the other larger parties (which were located in separate rooms and there was no trouble at all noise wise) we were not kept waiting from the moment we sat down. At the end of the meal we quite liked the idea to have a finishing drink outside and after politely enquiring as we didn't know whether we would be encroaching on the other parties if we could sit outside, we were instantly shown outside with a table prepared and drinks on the way! Breakfast was also very good, a good variety and choice. Overall, a very enjoyable visit from start to finish with...

Because of Air France's flight arrangements issue, I was unable to arrive the hotel before 10pm as scheduled. I called them and they managed to leave me the room key, so that I could get in at 4Am without any problems.||And the next morning when I checked out, the lady voluntarily helped call a taxi for me to go to this important meeting at Volkswagen, and after the meeting, when I called the taxi, the taxi company right away knew who I was, so I assumed she reminded the taxi company that I might need a ride back after the meeting. To me, that's very very thoughtful.||And when we left the hotel to the train station, she wrote a note for me in German for buying train tickets with the time and price. ||She was sincere. She is such an angel. ||Not to mention the room was spacious and clean. ||I've traveled to over 50 countries, and I would say that it's the best hotel experience I've ever had in...
