It is not difficult to see how someone could have a 5 star experience at this boutique hotel in a residential neighborhood of Accra. Unfortunately, we did not. As first time visitors to Accra we found the hotel to be far too isolated. After one night we transferred to another hotel in Osu.||||The rooms were comfortable but small. There was little closet or shelf space. The wi-fi was not working (although, to be fair, the staff explained that there was a huge rain storm the night before and had affected a wide area). The front desk attendant seemed more confused than helpful. We arrived on a Saturday night and a party being held in the outdoor area was noisy into the wee hours of the morning even though our room was on the second floor. ||||That said, the manager Joanna, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, professional and I observed how she effectively handled a full range of issues and questions that staff and visitors brought to her. There is a small pool and a spa, and a fine breakfast is prepared for each guest to be had in your room or at the outdoor area.||||I think that if you were having a larger family or friend event or a spa weekend and wanted to put everyone up together in one place, the Kegali would be a great choice. I can also see how it could be a quiet getaway during the week. For us, however, it...
Read moreMore than likely I would never lodge here again. I must say the food overall was very good. It takes a long time to come though so be prepared to wait a very long time. One of my issues was that if they don't have something they just won't bring it instead of saying they were out of it. I did a 4 day stay here. Every night I was there it was a party. Which wouldn't have bothered me except for the fact that when I went to my room I felt like I was at the party. Even with the windows closed the music was extremely loud in my room. I also was unable to use the wifi in my room. They accused us off not paying our food bill one time and upon showing them were a mobile money was sent by my husband they still were saying we didn't pay. After checking out and continuing on with our lives 14 days later my husband gets a message saying we didn't pay for our stay. Which I definitely did. The bar staff was very nice and friendly. There service was amazing. I would decibel go there to eat and drink but the level of unorganization and night life there would keep me from ever lodging there again. The beds were very...
Read moreLovely hotel in South Odorkor. Staff are pleasant but could do with a bit more training and the live band on Fridays is great but tends to get a bit noisy||Pros..|Outside parking but good security. Great food and a rather modern hotel. Lovely terrace bar which overlooks parts of DC and south odokor. All staff have name tags so it's easy to identify and commend great customer service ||Cons.. |Terrace bar is only usable in the evenings as its open air and tends to get quite hot during the day; for some reason the bar and restaurant staff have a habit of not providing receipts; ||Some hotel occupants actually want to get some rest, so the rather loud live band on fridays tends to irritate a bit. ||However a decent hotel by all standards and well...
