This place is absolutely horrible. Nothing worked in the room that I stayed in the first week. I had to ask to change to another room for the last two weeks. The staff seemed most of all bothered with me being there and when asking for buying a bottle of water from the bar you were sometimes met by deep sighs and rolling eyes. The staff was working 24/7 and were trying to study at the same time. They did not get enough sleep at all and was very tired all the time. ||||The owner of the place was helpful to a group of my friend as we wanted to host a party at the hotel. But the communication between the owner and a friend of mine suddenly turned upside down as the owner sent her a very inappropriate video - something pornographic of some kind. A mistake or not, that was very unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable being there.||||The hotel even stole money from my friends’ and my room, even though we had used a key for the closet inside the room to lock it up and had handed in the key for the room to the hotel, they even managed to take out some of our money. ||When confronting the owner nothing happened, they did not want to help us, they did not want to replace the stolen money, they did not even want to give any sort of discount for the payment of rooms. Not even to me who had been staying in a none-functional room for an entire week. ||||The pool was nice, apart from the cleanness of it. I went in one day and found snot all over my bathing suit and even underneath my bathing suit – That was so disgusting! Especially by the fact that didn’t come from my own nose as I kept my head above the water. Some people even had sex in the pool. ||||The hotel rents out a room for a chapel called the Love Chapel. The people there are like a cult. They take you in, makes you sit there for 2 ½ hour without you knowing what is going on and then afterwards they forces you to hand in all your personal information: full name, address, phone number, date of birth, if you believe that you are going to get into heaven when you die or not. My friend wrote ā€œmaybeā€ for that last question, because where we come from, we aren’t as strong believers when it comes to religion, but she almost had to stand for an interview to defend herself because they so strongly wanted her to believe in God. They even went to the hotel to ask for us one of the other days to take us back to the chapel. They might have done all this with good intentions but they were very pushy, they came on way too strong and it was very uncomfortable being around and made me feel nervous of having to face them again. The worst part was the noise coming from the chapel next door. The praying for God sounds more Satanist than anything. It was so loud and noisy and starts at 6 am and finishes at 22 pm. ||||Do yourself a favor and do not go to the Love Chapel nor the Kings Towers Hotel. ||||(BTW the hotel does have free wifi and free breakfast but surprise surprise the wifi doesn't work and the breakfast was...

Went to Ghana for a school program with KNUST university in Kumasi and spent three weeks at this hotel. Stayed in Accra, Cape Coast, and Kumasi and even though this accommodation had nice reviews I was very unpleased with my stay even compared to Ghanian standards. We had to turn in our room keys for cleaning and the housecleaners went through our stuff to find money. They even broke into our locked cabinets and took a little so we wouldn't notice. When we confronted the hotel manager we were called liars and he refused to sort it out in a decent way. At the end of our trip there had been stolen so much, that some of my fellow students couldn't pay for the stay.||||Just in the first week, we had problems with no water in the room, the air condition broke down multiple times, our refrigerator didn't work, our lamp didn't work, the water heater didn't work, the power disappeared almost every day multiple times and the wifi didn't work. All this and even more problems were just in the room I was in, my fellow students experienced cockroaches in their rooms, some could only flush their toilet once a day if at all and showers that were broken too. We also had a birds nest in our room and politely asked to get it removed several times, but the staff didn't do anything about it before we had three birds flying around our room. We sought help from the staff to all of our problems, but they only did a bare minimum to help us and seemed very unpleased with it.||||The staff smoke weed in the work time and work almost 20 hours a day without getting paid fairly. It's very nice the place has a pool even though it wasn't properly cleaned. And it's nice that it is possible to get food at the hotel but the waiting time for the food can be up to four hours. I stayed at four different places throughout my trip to Ghana and this was the only unpleasant one. I can't recommend it. You simply don't get what you pay for though it's quite pricy for...
