Lake Bosumtwi is the only natural lake in Ghana. It is situated within an ancient impact crater that is about 10.5 kilometres in diameter. It is about 30 km south-east of Kumasi the capital of Ashanti and is a popular recreational area. There are about 30 villages near crater lake Lake Bosumtwi. The most popular amongst the villages where tourists usually settle is Abono. The Ashanti consider Bosumtwi a sacred lake. According to traditional belief, the souls of the dead come here to bid farewell to the goddess Asase Ya. Because of this, it is considered permissible to fish in the lake only from wooden planks. During my stay in Ghana. I was staying in Kumasi, second largest city of Ghana. Many times we visited this attractive and amazing lake. We played cricket, badminton near lake. We enjoyed our lunchs and dinner here. It is wonderful place in the evening. I strongly recommend you to visit this lake if you are going to visit Ghana. All the best

The Bosomtwe Paradise Resort is nestled amidst a stunningly green environment, this resort offers a lot of activities that make it an ideal destination for a perfect getaway. The lush greenery and the tranquil Bosomtwe Lake created a picturesque setting, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The opportunity to enjoy a swing amidst nature brought out the child in me, and the boat ride on the waters of Bosomtwe Lake was nothing short of enchanting. Sports enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise here.😌 The resort offers facilities for both volleyball and football too. Playing these sports in such an idyllic setting was an unforgettable experience. Whether you seek adventure, relaxation, or simply a chance to connect with nature, this resort has it all.

I will love to come back here again over a million times. I was ordered for a very chilled water after a long ride on the boat and their unforgettable nice vanilla flavoured smoothie was just on point. At the end of day I finalised it with with banku and tilapia which was very nice but the price was on a high side so I needed to drop one star for that. In all the place was so lovely with a warm reception from their attendants is also a plus for them. I think everyone will love to be here!!!!!

I had an amazing experience at Lake Bosomtwe Paradise Resort, and I would highly recommend this beautiful destination to anyone visiting Kumasi or anywhere around here. The resort is situated on the shores of the stunning Lake Bosomtwe, and the views are simply breathtaking.

But what really made my experience special was the exceptional service and hospitality provided by the manager, Mr. Jackson. He was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. His pleasant personality and attention to detail truly made our visit memorable.

The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the boat ride on the lake and the opportunity to swim in the clear, refreshing water.

Overall, Lake Bosomtwe Paradise Resort is a fantastic destination, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kumasi. And if you're lucky enough to meet Mr. Jackson, you'll be in for an even more delightful experience!

Thank you to the staff at Lake Bosomtwe Paradise Resort for a truly wonderful experience. I can't wait to...

We stayed here for two nights as a large group. The staff were always friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were not particularly clean - there were dead insects in some of the beds (especially under the pillows) and some of the bedsheets were stained. However, the rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. Furthermore, the air conditioning and showers provided are quite good. The breakfasts weren't great, neither was the lunch, however, the dinner was quite nice. Although, seeing rats come out of the kitchen (which didn't seem to shock the staff) was rather worrying. The view of the lake is very nice and the activities available from the hotel are quite good (my personal favourite was the traditional fishing). However, the hotel does feel like it's the setting of an 80s slasher horror movie. We were the only people staying there and it felt...
