Nurom Hotel, Suame — Hotel in Ashanti Region

Our stay at Nurom Hotel was memorable, for all of us wrong reasons. When we arrived, our room had no towels. At reception, we requested towels and were told we would get one (to share). After some discussion with the manager it was agreed that we would be provided another towel. After waiting a couple of hours with no towel appearing, I decided to wait at reception to be given the towel. A fairly average hotel, rooms are not very clean, beds and Matresses are old and squeaky, generally a poor maintenance culture is practiced. Experienced frequent power outages lasting several hours even though there is a big generator right on the premises. Customer service is quite okay.

Has a great restaurant with a variety of meals available as a plus. Location is the heart of Suame within the bustle of the famous Suame Magazine some 7 minutes drive away from the Suame Roundabout on the Kumasi...

An inexpensive hotel. Since it's renovation it's greatly improved in both aesthetics and services they offer. Now houses a relatively nice restaurant for nice meals. Drinks and affordable rooms. Great for foreigners who intend to shop or use the services of the Suame magazine spare parts market. But if you're looking for a live band or noisy environment I suggest you look elsewhere.
