We stayed her two different times during our trip in Ghana and had the same room each time. It was weird--the room was down a long, dark, echo-y hallway that had motion sensor lights. There wasn't any wifi. We did have working A/C and hot water (the towels in the bathroom were one actual towel and one ripped-in-half towel). ||||We ate in the restaurant and had good meals that were freshly prepared and tasty. ||||The bed was hard as a rock, which wasn't a big complaint for us but I could see others finding it very uncomfortable. ||||Service here was hit or miss. Our first time the person working at reception was delightful and really sweet. We like having a top sheet (a bunch of hotels we stayed in just have the bottom sheet and a comforter, which is weird because (a) it seems less sanitary unless they are washing the comforter after each guest and (b) it's hot--who wants a comforter?!). She brought us a fresh top sheet and was friendly and helpful. The next time we needed toilet paper as none was in the bathroom and again, a top sheet, but it took several attempts and somewhat surly service to receive them. ||||Overall it was a fine stay and about what we came to...

Adjei-Mensah.||1) the rooms were stuffy and smelly, ||2)the bed sheets were bad and discolored, ||3)the bath tiles were also stained and obviously unwashed or scrubbed and the general hygeine of the room was poor ||4)the soap had a bad smell, ||5)the reception and bar staff were very unprofessional and lacked simple hotel ethics||6)The cutlery and tea set were old and not refreshing and the breakfast was nothing to write home about||7)the tv set was too small||8) the floor-mat was very dirty||9)interesting enough, the hotel had a superb room wi-fi facility ||i must say even by Ghanaian standards this hotel is simply disfunctional. i must admit though that if much is put into it by way of renovation, the hotel will be a delight to stay in due to the fact that the structure is good and...
Read moreThis hotel is very primitive by US standards but considered good for this region of Ghana. The first room I was given had no shower (pipes were missing) so I was moved to a second room that faced the highway and courtyard area near the entrance doors. It was very loud but I had earphones that drowned out the noise and was able to sleep well on the queen-sized and very firm bed. The room also contained a desk and wardrobe. The bathroom was the usual compact arrangement that allowed you to brush your teeth and use the toilet at the same time. Shower had hot water and the air conditioning worked well. The lock on the door to my room was not securely attached and the large gaps in the mechanism were stuffed with plastic bags; I slept with my suitcase in front of the door for...
