Beautiful beach and good food. Rooms: There are 13 double rooms, some of them that communicate with one another. Rooms cost approximately 700 GHS per room per night. Comfort includes air conditioning and hot running water. Reservation: It is necessary to make an advance payment to book them. In Ghana, this means going to the bank to deposit funds on the resort's account. Amenities: The pool is very nice. There are also outside showers to wash away the beach sand. The beach waves are ok for body boards but not for surfing. The water and beach are relatively clean. Watch out for the uneven seafloor and the riptide though. Food: Food is very good. Indian dishes are not very spicy. Breakfast is included for 2 people per room. Anyone extra needs to pay 30 GHS per breakfast. Nescafe included and you can pay extra for espresso, cappuccino, etc. Make to order your food well in advance as it can take up to 90 minutes to arrive. Note: Food from outside is not welcomed at Blue D. Ambiance: Even when full and with outside daily guests, the place is relatively quiet.

Nice clean beach getaway from Accra. Beautiful shoreline with some waves for body surfing (closes out too quick for surfing). Resort food is yummy. You can bring your own charcoal and grill food your own as well. Dmall nighltly bonfire (weekends only?). Small but clean pool. Very nice spot for families. Drinks were on thr pricier side, but you can order them up via WhatsApp which is convenient. Rooms had AC and a mini fridge - honestly didn't spend much time in thr room awake. No stores nearby so bring your own snacks and maybe water. Rooms get sandy - a floor mat would be nice inside the door. Manager person (owner? German lady) had great communication skills).

We really enjoyed Blue Diamond. Easy booking, great communication, easy to find and really not a bad drive from Accra. Ordering drinks and meals was an easy WhatsApp message. We ordered food one night, which was good and we brought bbq for the second night. I like that they allow you to bring your own food. The rooms are super basic but we spent all our time at the beach anyway. The beach is clean and safe to swim in. Decent waves for boogie boarding and even some surfing (there was a decent break down the beach a bit). It feels good to find a place to escape Accra and really be required to do nothing but relax.

I would actually give this resort a two star, but as we stayed there during their 'soft/partial opening' after the Covid lock-down I will go with 3 stars.||||The website and prices certainly has one expecting a resort worth revisiting. However, in reality it fell short. ||||On enquiry, it was explained that due to the resort being in 'partial open mode', the restaurant was not open, however there were BBQ pits for self catering. We were to take all our own food and drinks with.. (No crockery, cutlery or BBQ utensils were supplied)||||The pool and beach areas were lovely and clean. The hammocks, swings, loungers etc along the beach front were lovely and well maintained.||||The rooms are in desperate need of help. Barely acceptable :-||The beach front room that we were in, was in dire need of a repainting, and was not cleaned properly. The window frames are rusting. ||The furnishings - the absolute bare minimum. (A bed, a small table on one side of the bed, a built in clothing area with a rail, and a built in raised platform on which the fridge was situated.) ||The curtains extremely difficult to pull and so long that they are a safety hazard. ||A small fridge. It was so small that it literally only held 6 juice or soda cans (300ml), and a couple of small bottles of water. No drinking water was provided, and there wasn't any for sale at the resort.||A kettle was provided - but am not sure why, as there were no mugs or anything to make a hot drink in. ||The bathroom had either toothpaste, shaving foam or some sort of white cleaning material left on the wall near the wash basin, and generally seemed to need a very serious clean. ||Bedding, towels and complimentary shower gel and shampoo was provided. || ||We discovered that the resort does not have a trash pit, when, while out walking, we discovered all our weekend trash thrown out into a heap at the one end of the property! ||||(Sadly the amount of plastic and trash in the sea and washing up on shore is one of the disasters of Ghana. This, plus the use of the beach as a toilet, is not conducive to the tourism...

How did the Blue Diamonds whatapp orders concept help me? ||||Been a guest to Blue Diamonds beach resort for so many years and definitely fast service was always appreciated.||||Just like any other resorts ordering for food and drinks would be a bit challenging.||The place is quite big and waiters can not be next to you at all.times as we all wish.||||U always need to wait a bit for someone to attend to you and by the time u decide for what you want to eat hunger strikes!||||||By the time u r done with swimming and soaking under the sun you ll remember: i am hungry!Just now the stress starts! The questions ||Where's the waiter?||What do i want?||When is the food going to be ready?||And then salvation was introduced to us!||||Once u book your room you receive on WhatsApp the menu||By the time you check in you are already know whats available on their menu.||||Definitely a peace of mind and stress free.||Instead of asking the waiter ,, keep the drinks and food coming ,, u only have to write on whatapp qty of drinks and food and set time for next orders.||You can even place orders before arrival to the resort.||||Once you are there just unwind and get...
