IAA Grande — Hotel in Central Region

Spent a weekend at this resort and had a terrible experience. Upon arrival at around 1 p.m.,my partner and I had to wait about half hour for the receptionist to check in a guest before attending to us… apparently, she was receptionist and butler at the same time. After checking in, we were told the pool was out of water. Please note that the reservation was my 3 days before our arrival so I ask, why did they not plan for our arrival? I receive about 5 separate assurances that the water had been ordered but as at 11 p.m, there was still no water, which made me feel insulted. I paid GHS 5,000 cedis for the whole package, including a pool for relaxation and felt cheated. The next nightmare was the other guests in the adjacent villa. They had been playing loud music, not with the outdoor Bluetooth speakers, but a louder speaker in the afternoon but ignored because I figured I should give them grace. After all, they were there to have a good time as well. However, this became an issue when at 10 p.m, the music was just as loud as it was during the day. I called the receptionist 3 times to complain through around 12 midnight, who claimed she went over and knocked but was ignored by the guests who seem to be having a party. The property felt powerless to provide a comfortable experience for other guests and allowed this unruly behavior throughout the night. Sad part is, I didn’t sense any empathy from the property and felt they were non-chalant and expected me to be okay with the mediocre service, experience and low value for money that I paid. Spent the entire weekend here with my family and it was amazing. The kids enjoyed the pool and the beach, the Guest relations- Priscilla was so thoughtful and prompt with her responses and feedback. She was very very professional, smiling and ready to help and offer favorable solutions to any need that arose. The butler was prompt and very handy throughout our stay.

Although, housekeeping were not thorough and keeping to cleaning schedule nor changing sheets/towels as needed, and the Karaoke plan was ruined since we were told on the day that the Mic wasnt functional, even though the itinerary was sent to them a week before arrival.

My wife and I recently spent a weekend here and were highly impressed. The experience was great, with service that stood out from the moment we arrived.

The staff were friendly and professional. ​The food and drinks were freshly made and delicious, however, they do not serve alcoholic beverages. ​We stayed in one of the chalets, with a beautiful blend of modern architecture and nature. Each chalet has a private pool, which offers breathtaking views of the sea—perfect for relaxing. There's also a quadbike & horses available for riding but you'll have to book them early.
