My husband booked a weekend away for our anniversary and we set off to the beige village. As we are both avid travelers we decided to use google maps and that is why I rated this review very good instead of excellent. ( not sure if it's fair to beige village though). Anyway to cut a long, winding, bumpy, dusty, driver swapping story short it was awful getting to the resort. The place however made up for the journey, we had the couples treat booked hence golf lessons, fishing ( which I loved), and massages and jacuzzi treats. I love the method of selecting what activities you want to partake in ahead of time. Thumbs up for that. The food was amazingly great I think I underestimated them going in and they kept giving us excellent service over and over again. The lobster was so juicy........... Ok snap back to reality Nana. My favorite part of the trip was the night swimming option. As part of us feeling extra romantic away from the city of Accra and the fact that there were just a few others at the resort having the pool to ourselves at night was amazing. We ordered drinks (not a good thing to do but we're both great swimmers) and chatted till we got cold. To sum it up we had a great guide who got a very large tip and then he told us to use another hassle free route back to Accra. I'd go there again in a heartbeat. I just can't wait to see what new activities...
Read moreI loved my trip here! Great atmosphere so green and good food! Breakfast buffet was yummy and even though I didn't get to try fishing as planned they have a lot of outdoor activities so do take advantage of it when you visit!!! We were there in the rainy season and it really either was drizzling or felt wet all day haha but it wasn't heavy rains so it didn't spoil anything! This is an amazing place and I saw they have tour options displayed on the wall in the reception, we didn't have time to train any of that. It's a really vast place and it's so so green. |I loved it!!! The views from the breakfast area and the whole resort really is amazing! Getting here is a lot of work but it's worth it the roads when we visited wasn't that bad than it was before but it wasn't done either and it's really far! But once you get there you forget what you went through to get there!...
