Right I’m gonna start this off with I was only here for 1 night and paid 200ghc for my room so go into this not expecting luxury. Safe to say you get what you pay for from my experience with the room, it’s nothing fancy at all a reasonably sized room with a decent sized bathroom. I’m giving this 3 stars because of a lot of things, we booked 2 rooms 1 for just me and 1 for my mother and her husband, my room in terms of the room itself had no issues (other than the fact you have to lock the door to keep it closed, but I lock my doors anyways so it’s not too much of an issue) but my mothers room oh my lord I haven’t seen such a poorly maintained room, the fridge sounded like it would explode when you had it on (to which the staff did absolutely nothing about might I add) the air on didn’t work properly and the water flow from the bathroom sink was atrocious, it took 2 minutes to start flowing with water. Also something which is a personal preference since my mother actually liked it was the hard mattresses, the have absolutely no sink to them it’s almost like lying on the floor with a somewhat soft yoga mat under you, but as I mentioned that’s an acquired taste just thought I’d put it out there. I’d say for a place like this don’t go for the cheap rooms because it’s just not worth it for a great quality night stay. But it gets 3 stars from me due to having a lovely terrace area and a few amazing members of the team, I think her name was Bless she brightened up our experience by making us feel really welcome and even holding off taking a call just to finish speaking with us, and I didn’t catch his name but the “IT guy” who came and helped me with my internet he was really helpful and well clued up on how to fix my issues...
Read moreKoforidua Guest Hotel is one of the many hotels in Koforidua off the road leading out of the Koforidua to Kumasi and directly opposite Dadi' s pub. Service is great, bed and breakfast and rooms range from 370ghc to 800ghc. All rooms are equipped with kettles, some milo, coffee with complimentary 2 bottles of water. The bathrooms have shower gels and shampoo. A small bottle of body lotion would have completed the items but this is not the case however. Food is great even though kitchen closes at 9pm. If you drive and park your car at the safe and spacious hotel car, you might come out in the morning to see you car washed clean by the guy called Abusua. This is free but dont forget to leave a good tip. Almost forgot the swimming pool and the free wifi, the bar and the smiles from the front desk but be prepared to endure some loud music from the...
