Kikwor Hotel — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

But for a horrible experience, I'd have rated a five star.

Kwikwor hotel-Big Ada, is of international standards, very spacious compound, nice front desk staff, neat rooms, neat toilet, neat towels etc.

However; I checked in at night wanting to have a good sleep and wake up for an 8am meeting. Then around 9pm someone attempted opening my door with such force, without even knocking! I didn't open but I felt unsafe so had a bad night. Then after ten minutes he came again, this time, knocking softly. I asked "please who?" no answer. I then called front desk who came upstairs but the culprit had left. The knock came again after 5am the following day. I called the Manager himself who detailed front desk to investigate. I was later told it was one of the builders (can you imagine?) who sleep upstairs. (the top floor was still under construct) but he had been cautioned (🙄).

As if that wasn't enough, on checking out after a two day stay, I got downstairs only to find my car body and windscreen splashed with concrete mixture which had dried up, with the concrete mixture still working so I quickly moved the car to another part of the compound. The Manager offered to get it washed but I preferred to get it done at a car washing bay. Now my car has some scratches on the body. Hmmm! That was an anticlimax to an otherwise...

Really clean and fresh. One of the few hotels open in the Ada area with a reasonable price as Covid has killed the tourist industry in the town. rooms were from 80 GHS to 150 GHS with a really great family unit. Management and staff really did their work. Would have been a 5 if it was not for the group of young people who were partying from morning until late night. There should be a certain hour when it has to be quiet.

No wifi so make sure you have your mobile data.

For the value of an executive room, At least, the rooms should come with a bottle of water but none was provided.

Not to say, how noisy the area or neighborhood was. For your peace , I believe this isn’t the ideal place for relaxation.
