La Tua Villas Limited — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

We spent a few nights at La Tua at beginning of August 2020. The hotel was lovely and clean with a beautiful swimming pool. The accommodation had everything needed for a comfortable stay. (We selected sea view rooms in the main building of the hotel). The food from the restaurant was really tasty, and there was a reasonable variety available. There were however a few things that could improve the clients experience and stay and thus the 3 stars. (Decor needs a little assistance, the food menu and spa options should be added to the hotel information folders in the rooms, the bar options need to be increased ... and a major issue for us was the fact that to access the pool area, we had to walk out and around through the parking area.) The beach is a short walk away, with easy access. (Sadly the sea and beach was riddled with pollution . this is not the hotel's fault, however it's a serious issue that definitely needs to...

I had a pretty solid experience at La Tua.

Lunch and dinner first off, was really good and my group of 15 was spoiled for choice. We ordered their buffet service.

Breakfast on the other hand, which was part of the lodging package was meagre. The kitchen did the bare minimum on this one.

Generally, staff were willing and open to serve which you would assume is to be expected from people in the customer service industry but I've had some really sour experiences with hotel staff, retail staff, etc. So I acknowledged good service when I get it.

The rooms were neatly kept and the bathroom well maintained. The water heater worked and the toilet flushed well and at least in my washroom there were no rust stains. I appreciated that.

The Wi-Fi signal was strong and stable and the main pool was clean.

Room was very clean and nice, good bed, shower gel and body lotion in the bathroom were wonderful. Toilets you can't flush toilet paper, it is not convenient to use garbage pin. The personnel were not too friendly, they were most of time just after money and payments. No where was information what to do as a tourist, more or less all information was just about what to not do in the room :D restrictions and rules, but not anything nice about services and activities available. Restaurant is not open all the time, needs reservation in advance, menu is more local style food. It is a nice place to just sleep and relax, take some water and food...
