Legassi Gardens Apartments — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

I have revisited Legassi Gardens over the years because I know what to expect. 1st class service from airport pick up to drop off. The self contained apartments are roomy comfy with all mod cons yet has traditional African decor & theme. The food is very good in the restaurant if you don't want to cook & is affordable. The exterior & the grounds are lovely & well kept . Great for meditation and telaxing enjoying being amongst nature. Nothing is too much trouble for this nature loving couple who ho out of the way to ensure you have a great stay & will want to go back again as I always do. My first trip to Ghana and I felt very safe. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and welcome you over and over again. You are asked, "is everything okay" when passing, the convenience of a store, cook, and cleaning if you desire of your apartment & clothes. I loved the hospitality and the convenience of furnished accommodations with a kitchen. There are staff that will answer questions, accompany you to shopping areas, tourist sights, and this was very helpful in having an interpreter with you. My 9-year old son and myself stayed here for 3-months and I would recommend it to those who like to live among the locals away from tourist spots. The apartments are basic but comfortable and it felt like a home. My son attended the on-site school for one term which has a very good teacher, while I volunteered at a local hospital.
