Dont ask me about the name. I do know for sure, it is,a good place to spend the weekend. It has a,gym, swimming pool, restaurant, a VIP lounge where you can watch your soccer and other games whilst you sip your wine or your ice cold beer. The rooms range from about Ghc450 to Ghc 600 and Ghc1500 for the two-bedroom chalet self catering. Mr. Smith can also be a good place to organise a party. There is an ice cream place that serves the different flavors and types for ice cream lovers. There is a clinic attached that will be opening soon. There is also a car hire service opposite the hotel just in case you want to do a pleasure trip up the Aburi mountains, which is close by. Ordered a local meal for the very first time on a friend's invitation and I was offered a bowl of light soup that tasted off and the entire presentation of the meal was just super bad after I had confirmed severally with the waiter a couple of times. I waited for a whole hour to receive this. I calmly approached management and was received with a not very friendly response and was equally forced to pay for the food I didn't even eat. Customer service in general was good but presentation of meals and the current situation in the kitchen has to be looked at. It wasn't a pleasant culinary experience in general. I was really impressed during my stay with my wife at Mr Smith hotel in September, 2018 during my vacation. A very serene and cosy place for vacation to enjoy a good rest. Their smart and time conscious minded staff, always ready to give you good service with smiles through out, especially Michael who picked me from the airport on arrival, Eugene and Jones both at the restaurant and bar.
