Peemarys Hotel — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

I stayed at Peemarys for two nights in July 2018. The owner, Frank, answered many questions by email before I got there - always politely and promptly! The booking process was very easy.||||Our rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the room had AC, which meant we had a good night's sleep. There are nets on the windows to stop mosquitos entering, and I didn't see a single one. The room was en suite, with a spacious bathroom. The shower was cold, but had very good water pressure. You don't need hot water in the heat anyway!||||We had a tv in our room, but actually I never watched it. But the room was very comfortable, and staff were happy to provide whatever we needed - extra towels and sheets.||||We ate breakfast outside in the morning - yummy omelette with toasted bread and milo (hot chocolate). The other staff and 24-hour security guard on the gate were very helpful. There was also beer, water and other drinks available at all times in reception. And a take-away menu, which we never tried, but it looked like you could get a meal if needed.||||There wasn't much around the hotel, it looks like a developing neighbourhood, but this meant it was very quiet. ||||The rest of the hotel is painted in bright colours. And Frank is very friendly and welcoming! ||||I would definitely stay here again. It was good value for money for a visitor from the UK. It's hard to comment on the price, as it depends what your used to! But you'd never get a hotel as good as this, for this...

Apart from thier wifi services and breakfast..the rest ain't good. Can you believe I booked a room a day before ...when I got there the next day I was told my room was in use I had to wait in for 2 solid hours before I got the room When I was in having my peace of mind,the repair man interrupted me saying he wants to work on the pipes The lights were out for about 1hour before coming back up The AC and Fan in the room could just turn off and turn back on Apart from the environment being quiet 🤫 there are no security personnel around The rooms I used don't have waste bins except the one from the washroom On Sunday a church service was held in the conference room(no sleep) The boss(Mr.frank) is a calm guy..you need to upgrade on your cleaning services Pls the next visit should be perfect Because Hotels are perfect places for...

I stayed here a couple of nights. Generally it's located in a commercial area, so not much in the way of markets nearby. There is a Melcom nearby though. The rooms are fine, and I found staff to be pleasant & willing to assist with matters. There's a bar just outside, but in the hotel compound. But I was advised they didn't serve alcohol as it was a Christian place. This is their choice of course, but not entirely satisfactory for a traveler. There are some fine bars nearby, but the problem is that the Peemary is perhaps 150m from the main road, & at night I would be concerned about walking from the main road to the hotel.
