Rating 3 ⭐ because I went there purposely for the movie in the park event, I'm sure that doesn't fully transfer to the hotel aspect so can't review that. Service(security, ushers, servers) for the event was good, if the same staff work for the hotel which is likely the case and they maintain the same attitude on non-event days, then they do provide excellent service. It's probably best to go here if you drive your own car, it's a hustle to get a ride there and the roads ain't great. Popcorn and cocktail was great, food(assorted fried rice) from the restaurant was good. If your eyes are photosensitive like mine, you could benefit from taking along anti-glare/blue light glasses, I was in the back and still found the light from the screen glaring. Movies were current, like freshly released, wasn't expecting that. Would I attend this event again? Probably not. Think it's more perfect for new couples or long term couples' date night or weekend getaway (they give discounts on rooms during the event). Platinum opened at Abokobi in the Ga East municipal assembly in Accra. The 20 room hotel is perhaps the new place for your events and relaxation. It has perhaps one of the best rooms among hotels in the municipality. There is also a big event space attached to the hotel, huge car park, The road to the hotel is still under construction but motorable. The Place is designed for the upper class market. Standard rooms are going for Ghc900 and for up class suites going for about Ghc1200. My visit met very nice security men and waitresses and waiters. You may just decide to have a drink or dinner in the cabana or by the poolside or in the lounge. It is however more sexy in the cabana with your partner.
