A beautiful oasis, needs a loving touch||Such a beautiful and peaceful space. |Loving the eco consciousness, though missing a bit of a grip. For example guests get “dusters/rugs” as towel which I personally think is outrageous. ||We got the “Sean” chalet, and I must say, I have never slept in a bed that bad in my entire life. The bed was almost sinking with the head slightly low and feet high. This was reported to staff, and a carpenter came to fix the problem (well not completely).||Rooms were extremely hot, the little fan attached to the bed wasn’t working. ||On day 2, our water stopped running. This was reported to the staff again, (apparently was a general problem, yet nobody offered to get us water until we asked). |And like every thing else, it took hours to a day, before we got the water in our room. ||Food was delicious, slightly overpriced and mostly continental. |This I also find a bit intimidating. I personally travel around the world, also to try other cuisines (the local). |The staff telling us the menu choice was due to the target group, which mainly is “white people” was an insult!||Animals on the property is lovely, only problem is the cats making their way into the chalets, but also in the bar and sometimes jumping on the tables while guests/we eat, was a bit overboard (consider people who might have allergies)||A nice little DIY gym, a bit dangerous with those broken pieces from weights made from concretes and glass. ||Most of the hammocks were either broken or worn out so when it’s hot in the rooms, you can’t really be out under the shades.||Finally when we checked out and were settling our bill, we noticed we’ve been billed double for some things, but this was quickly rectified. ||Overall we loved the quiet and calm this place offers.||Will definitely recommend and will...

After years of wanting to come to Escape, I finally made the trip in December 2019. It was all worth it. Instead of 4 nights, I stayed for 12 and will always gladly come back. Coming from fast-paced city-life, this is an absolute gem of a place that will make you rethink priorities in life and simply live in the moment. ||||My highlights here were a) the daily yoga classes with Carol in the amazing yoga shala surrounded by forest , and b) the entire team at the lodge. They were so welcoming from the moment I arrived and made me feel like a part of a small community. You are almost bound to meet interesting travellers here, too, which I really enjoyed.||||Just behind the beach, which you will have almost to yourself, there are plenty of almond trees providing shade while you are still close to the beach. The moon doesn't get more beautiful as here! And if you do get cabin-fever, there are plenty of walks and tours you can arrange with the front desk.||I absolutely appreciated the way everything is built from natural materials and made as eco-friendly as possible (compost toilets, permaculture farm, turtle conservation, etc.). Sustainable tourism cannot be supported enough in today's day and age.||||Opposed to many other lodges and hostels I've been to, at Escape I had plenty of space to be by myself, in a hammock, the yoga shala, the restaurant or the beach beds and benches. ||||While the accomodation and food is more pricey than staying at very low budget accomodation or buying food from the street, it is well-priced, considering the pristine but remote location, the family-feel and the fact that some of the drinks and food need to be brought in from the not-so-close city. It's hard to be any closer...

I think for eco lovers this is nice. My partner liked the place, for me personally I didn't enjoy it.||Toilet and shower is in 1 small cabin. The toilet smells bad so it's not nice to stand there and shower for a while. ||||Very dissapointed with happy hour. Supposed to be buy 2 cocktails get 1 free.||But you get a free shot not a free cocktail.||||Its seriously over priced (€40) because besides from a room in a nice environment you don't get anything.||I asked at night what time breakfast was in the morning. Claudius told me it would be ready at 7.||When we got there at 7 no one was around. When we eventually found someone they said how we need to order breakfast of the menu because it's not included in the roomprice.||||Very dissapointing.||||To top it off Claudius was very rude when we was checking out and clearing our bill.||On arrival we got offered a welcome drink (very nice) until he added it to our bill!!||||Wasn't happy. When we complained about it he said he would only let us pay half of the drink...||||Overall it was just a dissapointing place to be. We left...

Peaceful place with an amazing beach. You need to note that this is an ecolodge and you have to know what to expect before going there. Food: Many ingredients are from their own farm and garden, that makes the food delicious. The kitchen is flexible for people who are intolerant to gluten and dairy. There are vegetarian options as well. Food prices and portions are pretty fair. Service: Good service and friendly staff. Owners take good care of the guests. Beach: Usually clean sand and ocean, if you don't mind walking towards the West approximately 10 minutes, there is a sweet spot where you can enjoy the ocean without so much waves. Bungalows: Well designed and simple. Activities: There is a gym, zip line, other places where kids can spend time at. There are also yoga sessions (check the schedule and availability with the hotel). Surfing lessons and surf boards are available (check with the hotel). Check other pictures and reviews before heading there, if you lower the expectations (don't expect to see 5-star hotel amenities), you would have a happy stay there.

Escape 3 Points is an ecolodge in the southernmost part of Ghana. Located in cape 3 points in the western region of Ghana, Escape 3 Points has become a site of attraction for people seeking a place to slow down in nature. I had a great experience here, disconnecting from the outside world and settling into nature. The host, Akwasi McLaren and his team are beautiful and very intentional about their services to their guests. In from of the lodge flows the magnificent Atlantic Ocean, an attractive site for the guests who either surf or walk on the beach. Just a few kilometers away is the Cape 3 Points. I indulged in many activities while I visited. From Yoga and meditation that really allowed me slow down to beach walking and playing indoor games with my friends and other guests I met here. I enjoyed the food. Many kudos to the chef and his team, and most especially, I enjoyed connecting with new people and hearing their stories. When you visit Ghana, make sure you visit Escape 3 Points. 💯 recommend it.

Escape 3 points is a wonderful retreat place into literally the wild. Vast ocean coastline and forest. You really disconnect from the modern world when you come here. The vibe and the people in the lodge are just great and the food is homemade and delicious. They bake their own bread and it’s soooo good. The only thing I would say against is the fact that to access the lodge is very tricky and the road is no good. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE THE ROAD GOOGLE MAPS SAYS. DO NOT. Ask the lodge for the road you should take which is prince’s road. We accidentally took the other road and almost didn’t make it to the lodge, there’s mud, huge ditches and water wholes with stones that broke a piece of our car. Consider taking a 4x4 when going to this lodge.
