Mourtero House — Hotel in Alonnisos Municipality

We stayed at Mourtero House for 6 nights, in September 2023. The place simply amazing! Located on a green hill, in an olive trees garden, it is one of the most beautiful places I ever seen by now. It's a traditional house, fully renovated, simple, clean and cozy. It is all you need to get a pause from all the stresfull noise we have around us every day. One of the best beaches on the island (Agios Dimitrios) is down the hill, at 3 km. There are few nice traditional tavernas at Kalamakia, 3 km far from Mourtero. If you just need a rest, here is the proper place!

Απίστευτη τοποθεσία!!!! Απογείωσε τις διακοπές μας!!! Απλό και καθαρό σπίτι, άνετο και δροσερό (διακοπές στο διάστημα 8-16/8). Εξωτερικά είναι απλά τέλειο. Λουλούδια και δεντρα συνθέτουν ένα εξαιρετικό σύνολο. Απίστευτη θέα στη θάλασσα και στο απέναντι νησάκι (την Περιστέρα). Ο κύριος Στάθης και η σύζυγος του, που έχουν το σπίτι, είναι εκπληκτικοί! Οι διαδρομές προς την πόλη και τις τοπ παραλίες του νησιού είναι όλες μαξ στα 20-25 λεπτά.. Μοναδικό πρόβλημα είναι ότι θα πρέπει να διασχίσετε έναν χωματόδρομο (8 λεπτά περίπου από τον κεντρικό δρόμο). Για χωματόδρομος είναι αρκετά καλός (εμείς τον διανύαμε, με Hyundai i20, 4 άτομα) χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα, αν και καλό είναι ο οδηγός να είναι σχετικά έμπειρος. Εν κατακλείδι, πιστεύω ότι για διακοπές στην Αλόννησο, η διαμονή στο Mourtero House...

Very cozy place for the ones seeking peace and quiet during their holidays. The view and the garden are very nice. The hosts are very kind and the house is very clean. The only bad thing is the 1.5km dirt road, but nevertheless the place...
