Oikos Boutique Residences — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

Me and the squad decided to get away for a week in Greece this past September and ended up stumbling upon this gem of a destination.

1-The villas themselves look like they were built 100 years ahead of even the other upscale ones on the island. As the photos will show you, the architecture as well as interior furnishing is extremely modern and sleek. It looks even 20x better in person. There's literally a secret bathroom that you have to walk through a bookcase to get through. Jacuzzi suites. There are wusthof knives in the kitchen drawers. An unnecessary flex, but a respected one indeed. That's how much every detail of this place was thought out.

2: Even if this place didn't come with hosts, it would top any other place on the island. BUT, not only was it amazing by itself, it came with two of the best hosts any of us have encountered. Literally anything we needed, Nikos and Costa took care of. Transportation to and from the airport. Rental car connections. They guided us through the local area. Gave us rides when we needed them. My son even caught a cold the second day there and they went to the pharmacy twice to get him what he needed.

Conclusion: We had to move to a 5-star resort for our last night on the island, and it did not even compare to Oikos Villas. If you are going to...

We had an AMAZING stay. The house (B) was excellent in every aspect. Very spacious to accommodate a group of 11 (with one kid sleeping on the comfortable couch). Well designed villa with all modern amenities and great materials. The kitchen had all the basics, including a Nespresso machine and frother. Fridge had ice cubes, cold water and wine. The master bathroom even has a jacuzzi on the balcony. The infinity pool was excellent, super clean, and comfortable temperature without extra heating (early August).

Nikos was an amazing host, probably the best one we've ever encountered. Excellent communication, very attentive, shared great tips for beaches and restaurants and shopping. When we arrived, he had prepared an amazing spread of local cheeses, figs, and beverages- very nice rich touch. The nearby Koroni beach was amazing, not crowded, beautiful sand, only steep road. Pro tip: if coming from Argostoli, take the next exit, not the one recommended in...

I have stayed in many Villa’s and dealt with many hosts before but I cannot rate Nikos and the boutique highly enough! Before we even arrived in Kefalonia Nikos was so helpful in making sure our stay would be as memorable and easy as possible. Not only did he go all of our grocery shopping so that when we arrived, we had a stocked fridge and cold drinks to sip on by the breathtakingly beautiful pool. But he helped us organise caterer’s ensure we knew all the travel requiments and just put our mind at ease, at what could have been a stressful time to travel. We hired out both Villa’s for 17 of us and we never felt like the houses were crowded or too small for us. With the two pools and loads of entertainment space with a beautiful view, we had so much fun at the villa as well as exploring the beautiful island.
