Perinthos Hotel — Hotel in Chalkidona Municipality

We've stayed there for 2 nights this August, during our trip to Peloponnese. The hotel has a large parking in front, near the pool which we didn't use. The reception personnel was friendly and helpful.||||On both stays, we've been allocated a room on the top floor, which seems to be newly built / renovated. The furniture and room amenities were new and the cleanliness level was good. Bathrooms were looking good, but there was water coming out from under the bathtub while taking a shower, which means poor plumbing / insulation.||||The noise insulation of the rooms is very poor, as the walls are made of drywall sheets, and we've been neighbors with a group of kids on our second stay which were anything but quiet...||||The hotel has a centralized cooling / heating system which is working only with the windows closed. Also, there is a flat screen LCD TV in every room, with a decent selection of stations, but poor analogue signal.||||Breakfast was not as good, the egg omelette tasted funny, vegetable salad was from last night's dinner buffet and coffee was delivered from a not-so-clean Nescafe espresso machine. The food variety was poor so the overall impression on the breakfast was a bad one.||||Overall, this is an average transit hotel, good for a one night stay if you are not...

Definitely not 4-stat hotel. Room is really good, but where is drinking water, even not only for 1 room but for one floor. Air conditioning is working very good But that's all for pluses. There is a lot of minuses. First. I read that it would be good pool, and that was my biggest advantage for booking. BUT, why ALL people could enter for 1 Euro??? Children are FREE!? Look at the picture, there are more than 100 people! That's impossible for 4 * hotel. I did my volunteer work and donations earlier. I want to rest, not to see a small pool that were used by more than 300 people in one day. Disgusting! A lot of people goes from buses from all the places around. And, secondly, the breakfast is so bad I wasn't able to eat it. After one breakfast I cancelled it for other days. I would like to receive at least half of my money back. And there is no service for activities. No bikes, no grills, there's nothing to do and spend time at all. I would say it's only 2-3...

Stayed for just one night and that was one night too many.||Reception looks great, but wait until you get to the rooms, smoky, dirty showers, and that’s enough to turn most peoples stomachs.||Then there was the evening buffet, a choice of two sad dishes, you can order from a different menu as we did but it took at least 30 minutes, when it came is was less than ordinary!||Breakfast was equally as sad, bread rolls like rocks and just very very poor selection and nearly inedible.||Don’t need to go on, just avoid this place.||In fact I would really wonder who on earth would want to visit this area for a holiday ?? ||We didn’t, ours was for wildlife photography in the north of Greece and southern Bulgaria, so this one night...mare stay was for the last night and airport the next day. ||We didn’t even book it, it was our travel company so I think it will be off their list too.||Go to Italy, or better still...
