We booked this hotel and prepaid before we arrived. We left in less than 2 hours. The hotel was not as described on the website.||The owner was friendly enough on the telephone before we arrived. He did help arrange a rental car.||After we arrived however our experience was terrible.||1. Reception is not manned during the day. You need to call the owner who will wander over;||2. Although new doors had been installed they were not properly aligned and would only shut if the doors were pushed really hard. They would otherwise not catch close;||3. The sliding door to our balcony would not work. This prevented us accessing our daughters’ room;||4. Our daughters air conditioner kept turning off even when all doors were shut;||5. The internet was rated as not secure;||6. Even though the owner noted that our overhead light was not working when he showed us the room and said he would change it he did not come back to the room at all the entire 2 hours we were there to change the globe;||7. There was no safe in the room - although not advertised. We were offered use of a safe in reception but as I wrote earlier this was not manned so if we needed access to our money or passports this was not a workable solution;||8. The public areas were largely unkept;||9. We called the owner to leave the keys. We told him we did not feel secure and safe at the hotel. He did not try to come and meet with us. When we asked for a partial refund he simply said ‘the prepayment is your contract so I do not have to give you any money back’. ||If you want something cheap then stay here. The accommodation is extremely basic. I would suggest looking elsewhere as there are plenty of other affordable nice places to...

Upstairs rooms have a sea view with Turkey in the distance.||This is a family run hotel and the family that runs it is friendly and helpful. Always happy to have little chat, assist you with car or bike rentals, and also offer plenty of tips on where to go and what to do on the island.||||Be aware that the location is quite out of town along a busy road, so a car would be handy, however there is a bus stop just nearby; otherwise a taxi will set you back between 4-6 Euros (depending on the time and luggage). ||At the front of the complex you will find a fruit and veggie shop and a corner store to buy essentials for breakfast, larger supermarkets are about 10-15 minutes walk away.||No immediate restaurants nearby.||As for the beach nearby, Agias Paraskevi is a small pebbled beach good for a quick swim but I would not spend a full day here, there are much nicer beaches...
Read moreEverything was perfect, comfortable and clean. There is a completely equipped kitchenette. The rooms are properly climatised, you sleep like a baby. The owner and his family were extremely helpful and friendly understanding also Turkish. The location is very easy to reach. There is a beach at 50 mt, shower, changing cabines included (don't forget your aqua shoes). You don't have to hassle to hire a car. You just ask the owner, hoplà ! Everything's arranged. There is a supermarket "Market-In" at 100 mt to the north, you find anything you need, especially cheese. Other small alternatives you have are two small food shops next to the hotel. This is like a summer house. I wish I stayed longer, to drain the...
