Nafsika Palace — Hotel in Delphi Municipality

Another hotel picked for us by Key tours. We stayed here for 1 night before visiting Delphi. The reception area is very elegant with a beautiful staircase. Another buffet style dinner and breakfast. There were a few gluten free options for my wife, but the buffet has cross contamination dangers for coeliacs.|The room itself was very big, as was the bathroom with a nice sized bath. The air conditioning was very poor, there was a sign on it not to adjust the temperature, as it was 25 degrees in the room I tried and failed. I had to go to reception to get it reset. The temperature was way too hot all night and we didn’t sleep, my wife also got several mosquitoe bites. It is a nice hotel in a lovely setting but they need to get better air...

Our tour group stayed overnight at the Nafsika Palace Hotel. I stayed in room 401. Room was small but comfortable. Robes and slippers were not supplied. Mini-fridge contained 3 items. TV had CNN International and BBC. Bathroom had a shower stall but no bathtub. No facecloth was provided. Provided soap was very small. Free wi-fi needed a password to connect and was relatively fast. Room safe was locked when I checked into my room and a hotel staff member came to give me a key to use to open and lock it. Hotel location is very good. It’s a short walk to the waterfront.||||For dinner, our tour group had a set menu dinner in the hotel restaurant which was decent. The buffet breakfast selection was quite limited...

We stayed here as part of a small group tour. We all had rooms on the 5th floor which have large balconies and great view of the sea which is just across the road. It's a very pleasant little town to have a walk around before dinner with lots of bars on the seafront if you fancy a drink too. Dinner was not 'buffet' but served, but there was no choice for us. The food was ok and plentiful.I liked this hotel as much as any we encountered during our tour, it has a rather old fashioned feel to it which I liked. I don't know how much it cost as it was included in the price...
