Exoristoi Nature Suites — Hotel in Gavdos Municipality

I spent more than a week at Exoristoi, working remotely and enjoying the beauty of Gavdos at the same time. Giorgos who was our host was incredible friendly, willing to answer at any question and show me around the area of Sarakiniko. The rooms are clean and cozy with the most beautiful view, literally you think that you are living on a ship in the middle of Mediterranean sea. It happened that my neighbors were remote workers as well, so we were working sometimes in the same area which make it super friendly, it was like digital nomads hub but in the paradise 😉. The internet was very reliable , even with 4 people streaming or having video-call. The beach is like a few steps away, so i had my refreshing break from work there. My week was like having holidays even if I was working. I definitely propose that place to anyone that want to enjoy a tranquil environment.

*Forgot to mention that your day starts with the sun rising from the sea in front of your eyes and the night starts with the moon rising from the hill of Sarakiniko, unspoken...

Ci ho messo un pò di tempo per scrivere questa recensione, perchè è difficile trasmettere i propri ricordi e sentimenti, in poche righe.

Partiamo dalla parte tecnica, l'hotel è situato in un isola dove sembra esserci un'altro stile di vita, rilassato, senza stress e lontano dai problemi.

L'isola, per fortuna, ha mantenuto il suo soul, il più naturale possibile.

Quindi se vi aspettate un luogo con i comfort del plaza hotel, non è il posto per voi.

L'hotel è situaro a 50 metri dalla spiaggia, dispone di stanze dotate di aria condizionata, frigo, doccia water e wifi, quindi tutto l'indspensabile per vivere al meglio.

Ha un barr aperto quasi tutto il giorno, dove si può fare un ottima colazione, con una vista impagabile.

Giogios è l'anima dell'hotel, ci ha fatti sentire a casa fin dal primo mometo, quando ci è venuto a prendere in porto, si è occupato di noi, assieme al ragazzo del bar, e alla ragazza che puliva le camere..

Vi ringrazio per il vostro impeccabile nservizio, la gentilezza e per averci fatto sentire a casa.

Non vedo l'ora di tornare

It took me a while to write this review, because it is difficult to convey your memories and feelings in just a few lines. Let's start from the technical part, the hotel is located on an island where there seems to be another lifestyle, relaxed, stress-free and far from problems. The island, fortunately, has retained its soul, as natural as possible. So if you are expecting a place with the comforts like plaza hotel, this is not the place for you. The hotel is located 50 meters from the beach, it has rooms equipped with air conditioning, fridge, shower, toilet and wifi, so everything you need to live as best as possible. It has a bar open almost all day, where you can have an excellent breakfast, with a priceless view. Giogios is the soul of the hotel, he made us feel at home from the first moment, when he picked us up at the port, he took care of us, together with the boy from the bar, and the girl who cleaned the rooms.. Thank you for your impeccable service, kindness and for making us feel at home. I can't wait to return Thanks again...

A lovely hotel of less than 10 rooms, probably the best and the most expensive on the island. Location and view are incredibly beautiful, with a breathtaking view day and night. Owner is nice, staff are very helpful. Bathroom is smallish. The only minus which can be fixed is the total lack of shade in the mornings, which are really hot: a sun umbrella or a cotton/linen curtain would solve the problem, like I’ve seen in other island Hotels. A bigger mirror, a bigger waste paper bin, some glasses and a kettle for coffee making would further improve the stay. A very nice stay indeed, I do recommend this place! Gavdos is a...
