We stayed at Plataria Resort in mid August 2023. I have no words to express how much we enjoyed our stay!!! Starting form the staff, just great, helpful like Nicotela, Effi and all the others. The breackfast was just WOW, full of chices and quality food. Also the coffee very tasty (Vescovi Caffe'- Padova, I am from the same city and you can imagine I was very well surprised to find it there too). The bad and pillows were just AMAZING, never slept so well in an resort room, we felt like heaven! The beach very clean, wtih space and its great if you aslo are travelling with kids as me, since its a small beach and you can keep easly an eye on kids while you are relaxing (kids cannot go far, since only 2 lines of ombrellas) No windy on the beach since its like an half moon, soo kids does not get cold if windy weather. We really relaxed! Another plus the atomsphere, all in natural wood, nice interior design, very pleasent, you feel in holidays! One immpovement point as suggestion to the owner is to create a little Kids play gorund! In general I super Reccomend Plataria...
Read moreWow, this place is recently renovated and sits right next to a beautiful beach! Views are great and there's a lot of potential BUT....||...No staff. None. Zero. Nada. I get it with the corona virus and everything to be understaffed but one guy at the restaurant and one guy at the beach, trying to serve a couple hundred of people is definitely not enough. We were waiting for hours and hours to be served every time we went to eat or drink and the guy in charge was very apologetic and very helpful with finding us nice seats and all but he couldn't do much, he was running like a headless chicken around the place to fill up the "un-staffed" holes. So every time we were waiting and waiting and waiting for coffee or food (don't even get me started on food quality ugh) and we try to give them many chances to fix it but no. You need to hire people!! Hellooooo!! That's how businesses work, with waiters and cooks and bartenders. We won't be coming back, might as well spend our hard earned money...
Read moreExcellent resort, Caribbean-style, on a cozy sandy beach easily accessible. The resort is opened also to daily guests, as it was my case (12 euro for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella). Parking area available. Nice veranda restaurant where you can eat and rest after a day at the beach. The food was very good, with a sufficient choice (we opted for a Dakos salad and chicken souvlaki as in the pics). The beach is not wide but enough for you aims. Waters are transparent on the first meters, less after (because of sea flora, just for this) but you can watch several fishes. Excellent selection of discrete music (not loud) which is an added value to the ambiance, giving you the idea to be on an island. Highly...
