The view was amazing and not far from port so not long to get to . Dexia beach just down the road was a fab beach water so lovely .Makis was accommodating although does not speak much english but nice guy . he did say as no one was coming in we could stay until 3 pm until we caught ferry which was nice gesture .|| · we did not get much sleep as dog at rear of property barked until 4 or 5 in morning , when i text the owner she said it was coming from up the mountain , i disagreed with this as it was directly behind us ? makis indicated he worked / lived there so think that is where it came from . the road going up to windmill is very uneven and not well maintained , there is quite a lot of building material lying around , bricks , old furniture, pallets , plants in pots just left etc . shame the attention to detail is not finer and garden not as well maintained as could be . we shared a terrace but as we had the upper apartment the area directly in front has quite high trees / shrubs so not an open view to see. the lower apartment has the other part with no interrupted view just a railing, the railing stop when it get the garden area . Would be a good idea to take this small bit of garden out in our opinion . The kitchen is very dated and on a raised step if you are tall you would find this very difficult to manage , only 1 frying pan and 1 saucepan thats it . No slice for eggs no wooden spoon, no cupboard to put food in , can't leave on small worktop as ants invade. No decent toaster, only one aircon unit above front door and a not very efficient dusty dirty fan in the bedroom. Hair dryer would have been useful , bed is not brilliant mattress uncomfortable .Most of these things are quite simple and would improve overall experience, i know greece is quite traditional but most places we stay now have come in to 20th century and the basics can make a huge difference to the...

Read moreIt offers a magnificent view to Vathy Bay and is quite close to the city but unfortunately you can see it only from the kitchen window in case you are staying in the ground floor. The other windows have view to the mountain. For this reason the cost of the accommondation in the ground floor should have been much lower than the cost of the upper one. Also, two sandy beaches are located near the mill and it is very convenient. On the other hand there is no reception service and you have to call in case of emergency. Furthermore, the path leading from the main road of the island to Mill is very steep and not safe for your car except you have a...
