The Bagasaki Inn greets you as you drive through the tall, thick coniferous forrest, after leaving Karpenisi. Just when you think you might have missed Hani Bagasaki this lovely, welcoming red building pops out from the trees as if to say "Hello! Welcome!" Sotiri and Dimitri are super hosts and take great pleasure in engaging with their guests. ||||The Inn is about 5km from the centre of Karpenisi with plenty on offer there and in the surrounding area. The immediate area can manifest a feeling of wild nature and is totally peaceful. || ||The wood burning stove was roaring in the taverna and we were lucky enough to sit close enough to the fire to be mesmerised by the flames licking at the glass enclosure. Suddenly, your cheeks warn you that the heat is intense - or was that the home brewed tsiporo? Either way it was just what the doctor ordered, especially after a long drive.||||If you like nature the location is unbeatable. The loudest noise you will here in the evening is mainly the wind whispering through the trees and the odd passing car. It snowed the evening we arrived, but the road was totally cleared by first light - a lovely surprise as the drive to the ski centre would daunting otherwise. The road was in fact cleared all the way to the ski centre - bravo!!!||||The rooms are comfortable with all the basics you would expect in an ensuite room. Food is available in the taverna offering traditional Greek fare of a very good standard and it seems to be popular with the locals.||||The Inn has a play area for children adjacent to the main building. The local area boasts loads of activities from skiing and kayaking to walking and off-roading. A place where you can enjoy true hospitality. Very near to so many places to see and do. The owner is a very nice guy, always willing to assist. The breakfast is outstanding and if you want to eat there is always the in-house tavern with fresh plates, cooked in the real Greek way and nice local wine. Ένα μικρό κομμάτι παραδείσου στην καρδιά της Ευρυτανίας. Τα δωμάτια πεντακάθαρα και διακοσμημένα με γούστο, απλά, ζεστά, φιλόξενα. Η τοποθεσία μαγευτική! Αν υπάρχει παράδεισος, κάπως έτσι πρέπει να είναι. Να πίνεις τον καφέ σου με φόντο την απεραντοσύνη των ελάτων και με μελωδικό χαλί τα τζιτζίκια. Την ώρα που η πόλη λιώνει από τη ζέστη, εσύ να ανασαίνεις δροσιά, οξυγόνο και φύση — στο ψηλότερο σημείο της Ευρυτανίας! Το πρωινό, εξαιρετικό!
