Right off the village square and renovated from a traditional home, the Oihalia Guesthouse is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious with traditional village decor but with all modern facilities. The owners also operate the village tavern where guests are offered a traditional Greek breakfast with homemade marmalade, eggs, local cheeses and herbal teas or coffee. The lunch and dinner menu includes a traditional Greek mountain village cuisine with grilled meats, homemade phyllo pies and fresh vegetable and meat stove-top dishes. Read more||We had intended to overnight at Karpenisi but fortunately found the delightful Oihalia Guesthouse along the way. It is in a beautiful spot with wonderful views. ||||We had a warm welcome from Christos and Georgia and, in the end, spent 2 nights with them as we liked the guesthouse and village so much.
