Hotel Zeus — Hotel in Karystos Municipality

Great place overall with lovely pool deck. We had no.2,a 2 bed apartment which is ground floor so has a good pool view surrounded by vines from the terrace. However the terrace & table is a bit small for 4 (2 adults,2 teens). Cats visited all the time for food,we love cats and they were very friendly but if you don't then get an upper floor room! The rooms are good,1 huge room with 3 beds and small sofa,chairs,wardrobe but no aircon! The other is a double bed with kitchenette and small dining table & 3 chairs with very cold aircon.The kitchen is fine but could do with a couple more big plates. The bathroom is OK with a shower. It's on the main road but it's pretty quiet anyway. Good for visiting the castle,Dimisari Gorge etc. Good restaurants in karystos and 1 nearby ( near garage). We enjoyed...

We stayed 2 nights with our 3 grandchildren. After a very positive arrival we got more and more disappointed. We had an apartment at the ground floor and there were many problems: rooms were dark as there were trees in front of the windrows, the heating only worked at arrival, the swimmingpool was not open, the breakfast restaurant mentioned at booking.com was not there, no chairs around the small table in the kitchen and only 4 chairs on the terrace (too cold to have breakfast there), the drain in the bathroom was in the middle of the room and everything on the floor got wet during showering, some of us had cold showers, the road outside was too busy with trucks and cars to walk to the town...

Lovely hotel located at the foot of the mountains - a five minute drive from town. Warm and welcoming staff. Good parking. Modest but very clean and comfortable rooms with nice terrace over looking a spacious pool deck, shaded by attractive trees. Good restaurant two minutes walk away or many other options in town. Great base for exploring the highlights of the southern part...
