Nerea Boutique Suites Karystos — Hotel in Karystos Municipality

We stayed a week in the Nerea Hotel Suites and this was our first time in Karystos and Evia. We have travelled all over the Greek Islands in the last 40+ years and have experienced many Hotels, apartments and Airbnb’s.|These apartments are beautifully presented and in the middle of Karystos town, where you feel you are living with the locals, so whatever’s going on in town life, you are experiencing.|A short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants and the beaches so you don’t really need a car unless you want to explore the Island more, which we did not do on this trip.|This wonderful stay was elevated even more by the wonderful attention of the owner Johnnie ( Yiannis) who served a fabulous breakfast downstairs where you could watch life go by, or if you wanted also served in your room. |Nothing was too much trouble for Johnnie and you were welcomed every day by a beaming smile and useful information and even offers of a car ride to the beaches if wanted.|We will definitely try and return next year and possibly stay in the jacuzzi apartment.|Thank you so...

I recently stayed at Nerea hotel in Karistos for a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to beaches and restaurants. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the hotel's staff. The friendly owner of Nerea, Yanis, went out of his way to make me feel welcome and cared for, throughout my stay, and their attention to detail and personal touch really made a difference.

Overall, I had a fantastic time at Nerea and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Karistos, Evia. I will definitely be returning in the future and can't wait to experience the same level of hospitality and...

Honestly I was debating between 2 and 3 stars. I believe 3 is kind. The rooms and the hotel in general were beautiful and the reception was kind and helpful. Yet, there were plenty damages in the rooms that you can clearly see in my pictures below. For a newly built hotel (3 years) this is unacceptable. Also the location, even if it’s close to the center, it is not ideal since it’s very noisy. Basic hygiene rules and non broken everyday use items are not minor details. (Response to your comment).
