Maltinas House — Hotel in Kassandra Municipality

We have spent 14 days in Maltinas House in July 2017, we were a group of several families, with children. We have occupied several apartments and one studio. The Studio on ground floor is large, comfortable, with fully equipped kitchen that is perfect for a family of 3. The apartments on the upper floor are fully equipped, with big fridge, all cooking utensils for those who want to cook, all with large terraces. They are the closest to "home away from home", big size apartments comfortably accommodating 4 adults, or a family of 5. there is a nice garden and barbecue. The property has a private parking area, shaded by olive trees. The Wi-Fi is with full coverage in the rooms, as well as in the garden. The owner, Mr Vangelis is an excellent host, accommodating guests requests and very helpful. He speaks perfect English and German. There is even the possibility to use the washing machine, which was very useful for a 2 week stay. ||There is a tavern with nice food just outside of the property, a gyros place with great tzatziki, an ice cream shop with excellent service, and a supermarket, all within 50 meters. The local beach is also 50 meters away, a small beach with a nice beach bar, nice food and good service. It is all lovely, quiet, comfortable, most relaxing place ever!||There are bigger beaches both to north and south, for more interactivity. Nea Skioni and Posidi, as well as Fourkas are all within 10 minutes drive if you are looking for entertainment or variety. ||Mola Kaliva is perfect for families with children, relaxing and comfortable. We had a very nice little stay at Maltinas House in Mola Kalyva. Walking distance to the beach, which was nice, but beware of the occassional sea urchine (bathing shoes advised), and several nice restaurants - the one one the other side of the road was great, but we chose the one close by at Villa Maria due to the fantastic sea view. The appartments were clean, functional and cosy and the service level was great for an appartment accomdation. Easy (and free and secure) parking nearby and always easy to find the manager when you had a question or wanted some tips for where to go and where to eat (manager was completely fluent in several languages, english among them - which is certainly not the norm in Greece so be ready for pointing at the menu when visiting the local...

What a fantastic place in a beautiful setting. Mola Kaliva is an ideal place if you want a relaxing break relaxing by the sea with great places to eat local food.||||Maltinas Guest House has everything you need, spotlessly clean and the host Vangelis can't do enough for you. He's very friendly and welcoming.||||The area itself has 2 small supermarkets where you can find anything you need, the local taverna across from the guest house serves the most amazing squid and octopus dishes a favorite of mine and my wife's and we ate there nearly every day of our stay.||||This is definitely a place we will be coming back to again next time we need a relaxing break from the stresses of everyday life, and a final thank you to Vangelis for being a wonderful,...
