Guesthouse Petrino — Hotel in Lake Plastiras Municipality

Where do people who have had enough of the heat, noise and bustle of Athens go for some cool respite? My wife and I chose the relaxation and abundant fresh air of Pezoula, a mountainside village close to the attractions of Lake Plastira. We stayed at "To Petrino", a guesthouse overlooking Pezoula. To Petrino (literally, "the stone house") certainly lived up to our requirements. The philosophy of our hosts, Dora and Tasos, is to provide a pleasant environment where people feel at home, and boy, did they achieve that! Our spacious, tastefully decorated room provided a great view of the village and mountain slopes, which offer great walks. Mountain air triggers the appetite, and Dora's breakfasts certainly catered to ours: delicious homemade bread, cheese pies and cake with a variety of homemade jams and honey from their bees. ||Nothing is too much trouble, and we were made to feel truly welcome.
