Oreiades Houses — Hotel in Lake Plastiras Municipality

We have just come back from Oreiades Suites at Krioneri, one of the villages at Limni Plastira and we are full of images and warm feelings after a short but very fullfilling weekend! Oreiades Suites is built in the forest, you are surrounded by the trees and the view to the lake is really nice. On the other hand you are only 3 minutes away from the main road that leads you to the other villages ot Limni Plastira. The room we were given was really big and nicely decorated, with very warm colours and wooden furniture. A big fireplace was there promising really warm nights in winter. Warmth is actually the word that suits this place, since you will not forget the warm smile and hospitality offered but the owners of the place from the very first moment you arrive there. Eleni is a lovely young woman,ready to help you, always in a discreet and polite manner. You will love her fresh handmade pies and muffins, offered to you for breakfast, during which you receive personal service. She will give you the recipee, if you like, she will give you invaluable advice where to have really good food, where to buy local products of the best quality, she will help you with your sightseeing if you have only limited time available; you will always have the feeling that you are not staying in a hotel but you are treated as a guest at a friend's house but a very discreet and caring landlady. We enjoyed water-cycling in the lake and cycling in the forest round the lake, trecking in the gorge of Anthohori to reach a small but picturesque fall and so much more! I have visited Oreiades Suites with my family (10 people), for Easter, and it ia one of the trips I will always remember dearly.||On your way to the establishment you will certainly stop to admire and take pictures of the wonderful scenery that nature has created.||The most amazing and warm people will welcome you with a genuine smile and a passion for what they are doing. From the first moment they make you feel like a guest at their house and by the time you leave they will be your new friends.||I already miss their laughter and the good times we had.||Always discreet and polite, taking care of everything you might need, keeping the rooms clean and offering a service of a 5 stars hotel.||Breakfast is by far the best you might get in a hotel as everything is prepared in the morning by Eleni, who works tirelessly from dawn to cook pies, muffins, waffles and excellent omelets. Handmade cakes, ice cream with wine syrup and traditional cookies are just a fraction of the delicacies you have to try while visiting.||Spacious rooms, with free WiFi, that have an amazing view to the lake that if you have the time drive around for some breathtaking sightseeing.||The place is a must visit both during winter and summer, as it completely changes each season, providing you with a different experience.||I do hope to go back as soon...

We visited Plasthra lake at the end of Christmas holidays, while winter snow had still not melted, leaving us snowy covered landscapes. ||||Oreiades Suites is a very warm place located close to the lake. The suite (we took one with a fireplace) was very warm and clean, with a view to the snowy lake. Breakfast contains nice home-cooking pies. ||||The owners, Dimitris (a.k.a. "The Owner") and Eleni (a.k.a. "The Chief Communications Officer"), really love what they do. They, and their cousins that happened to be there, treated us in a friendly, generous way, and filled us with many funny memories (like the one early breakfast on a perfectly lined-up tables). ||||If you have not scheduled up your staying, you can ask Dimitris and Eleni to suggest you places to visit, and where to eat. ||||Overall, would be more than happy to recommend them.
