Heliopetra Luxury Villa Lefkas — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

This was the best holiday experience we’ve had to date. We only came back a few days ago and we are already planning on coming back next year and staying longer next time. It was truly the best experience. I can’t praise it enough.

The villa is very well designed, you can see attention to detail everywhere and you can also see that a lot of thought went into the layout. It is very clean, quiet and very, very private. We could truly reset and unplug there. We came with two dogs (west highland terriers) and some friends of ours and no one wanted to leave the property throughout our stay because it was so comfortable and relaxing.

There are some things I particularly appreciated about the Heliopetra villa:

There are two fully equipped kitchens so we had no problems cooking our own meals. The plates are very cute and the kitchen equipment is high quality. The perimeter is very secure so our two dogs could walk the grounds without leashes (under supervision). They had an even better time than us! There are easy-to-use screens with magnets on every door and window to prevent insects from flying in. You can have windows open during the night and sleep with a pleasant breeze. There were no mosquitoes, at all, while we stayed there. The beds are huge and are very comfortable. There are lots and lots of fresh towels, and then some. All the towels (and bedding) are very high quality. The pool is clean and there are high quality sun loungers with lots of cushions all over the place. The lighting on the property is also on point. Once the sun goes down the villa's lights come on (that includes the pool). It gives it a very cozy and romantic vibe.

And that’s even before we get to the stunning views from every room in the villa! I currently live in Greece so I am used to beautiful views but these views are just next level.

We had the privilege of spending an extraordinary stay at Heliopetra Luxury Villa Lefkas, which left us absolutely speechless. The location of this property is like a dream – perched on a hill with breathtaking panoramic views, both of the sea and the lush green landscape of the island. We felt like we were in a corner of paradise, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by absolute tranquility.

The villa itself is decorated with exquisite refinement, perfectly blending modern elements with traditional Greek details. Each room is spacious, bright, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for 5-star comfort.

As for the host, Iris, we have nothing but praise. They were incredibly helpful and prompt in responding to all our requests. They provided precise directions from the beginning, ensuring we arrived at the villa without any problems, and were always available to make sure we had everything we needed. Moreover, their local recommendations were invaluable, helping us discover wonderful places on the island.

Heliopetra Villa is truly a hidden gem on Lefkada. Perched on a tranquil hill in the south of the island, it feels like stepping into a dream. The views are breathtaking, 360° panoramas of the Ionian Sea, magical sunrises, and sunsets that look almost unreal. My favorite moment was around 17:00, when the pool and the sea glitter together like a painting. 🌅✨

The villa itself has everything you could wish for: spacious balconies, lush Mediterranean plants, a beautiful infinity pool with jacuzzi, thick sunbeds for relaxing, a fire pit for stargazing, BBQ nights, and even a small outdoor gym (perfect balance between souvlaki & squats 😄).
