Two stars, all for the outdoors, nothing for the villa. We booked another villa through an organisation that goes by a month-name, we also were there in June ;) Unfortunately (after payment) our choice was unavailable and we got this one as a substitute. This place was, ahum, not so clean. Ants walking in the bathroom, a lot of mold, the bathroom also felt very thick in the air when you closed the door and window for a long period of time. The house in general smelled a bit, weird? We also had a lizard in the bedroom and the owner said that the cleaners would help, the cleaner did know nothing and she screamed when she saw the picture (so she would definitely not help). Looking back we could've moved houses because the other one was empty for the rest of the week. But we don't know that and unfortunately the owner did not offer it. So we moved to the room upstairs but the floor was very sticky, and I'm sure there were more lizards in the walls because I could hear "something" dig at night. If the outdoors (pool) wasn't perfect we would've left! But we looked with dread towards every night so this holiday wasn't a pleasant experience to think back to. If you pay a lot of money you would at least expect it to be clean and to get some service.

I recently stayed for three nights at Lefkada Villas and another three nights at their sister property, Anemones Villas, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Lefkada Villas exceeded all my expectations. The villa's huge pool was a highlight, offering a refreshing escape with complete privacy. The views were simply stunning, and the spacious rooms made for a very comfortable stay. The villa was equipped with all the facilities needed for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.Anemones Villas were equally as amazing. The attention to detail and the quality of the amenities matched that of Lefkada Villas, making both experiences truly memorable. The management was incredibly helpful, ensuring that everything ran smoothly, and the cleaning service was top-notch. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend these villas to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful retreat.

This villa was wonderful and catered on the most part for my family needs, a few basics in the kitchen missing. It is up a mountain and the drive can be quite frightening but if you're a confident driver you'll ace the hairpin bends on a cliff! However the villa has the most spectacular view of Lefkada and it makes the drive up the mountain worth it. The pool is amazing and we easily spent the day playing and lazing in the garden by the pool. The service provided by the cleaner each day was outstanding - very friendly and reliable service! There is a tavern just down the hill in Vafkeri it's about a 10 minute walk from the villa but the nearest shops are in Nydri down the mountain. Overall a lovely stay at Lefkada Villas.

7 adults & 1 child in our family group stayed here whilst attending a wedding on the island. The villa is located in a residential area on a hillside with spectacular views and of the sea, the harbour and the mountains. There is a large gated driveway making you feel secure and secluded. As you enter the main door you are in an open plan kitchen/dinning/living area which consists of an L shaped modern kitchen with lots of cupboard space and fully equipped with everything you will need including a standard oven, a large American-style fridge freezer and a dining room table with 6 chairs.||The dining/kitchen area leads into the living room in this open plan style. The living room has a flat screen TV on top of a video cabinet with an open fireplace, a CD player, a large settee, a large coffee table and pictures to give it a homely feel. This open plan kitchen/dining/living room ends with patio doors that lead out to a very large balcony with another dining table and 6 chairs for outside eating. There is also an airer for drying your washing and stairs which lead to the downstair rooms and pool/garden area. Access to the bedrooms on the same level as the kitchen/dining/living area are also via doors to this balcony that has amazing views of the harbour, mountains and sea plus views of the pool. You can also access the these bedrooms internally from doorways on either side between the kitchen/dining area and the living room. ||Before entering the master bedroom there is a door to a utility cupboard which holds a standard washing machine, laundry items and an iron with ironing board. Next to this cupboard is one of the bathrooms which is modern and has an amazing upright jacuzzi shower with a seat and side jets plus 2 shower heads. There is also a sink on a cupboard with a double bathroom cabinet and a shelf underneath and a wall mounted hair-dryer next to it. Toiletries were available as well as towels in all of the bathrooms.||The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with single-drawer bedside tables either side of it that both have bedside lamps on them. There is a massive floor to ceiling built-in wardrobe that have multi cupboards and drawers spaces included. There is also a single-drawer dressing table with stool and wall-mounted mirror plus a wall-mounted flat screen TV. ||The other bedroom on the main level has exactly the same set-up as the master bedroom except it has twin beds. The bathroom next to this bedroom also has exactly the same set up as the one next to the master bedroom except it has a sit in jacuzzi instead of an upright stand in one.||Downstairs can be accessed either from stair leading from the driveway or stairs leading from the balcony. Both sets of stairs lead into the garden/swimming pool area which has small grass areas on either side of the villa and a built-in BBQ with a hammock behind it. The pool is of a good size with a shallow & deep end plus a children's paddling pool next to it. There is a parasol and plenty of loungers, even a lovely double-seated one for a couple of people to sit together on.||Doors to access the downstair rooms are at poolside level. As you enter through the patio doors in front of the pool you enter a living area with another large settee, a small coffee table and plenty of shelves and cupboards again with a homely feel due to pictures, books, a vase and ornaments. This living room leads into a dining area with a table and chairs for 4, a standing coat rack, a mirror and a front door that leads to stairs at the side of the villa going up to the driveway. The 2 bedrooms are via doors from the dining area with one bedroom having a double bed, bedside tables either side with lamps on, a cot and a narrow but tall double wardrobe. The other bedroom has a massive circular bed with one bedside table and again a narrow but tall double wardrobe. The bathroom for this downstair section was next to the bedroom with the circular bed and has a shower that had a little step with a sink above a cupboard and a large wall mounted mirror.||All in all, this villa was trendy and stylish with plenty of space, well equipped and with amazing views. You would need your own transport or be prepared to use taxis as it's not close to public transport or close to local shops/amenities but...

We stayed the last two weeks of April 2023 at Villa Skorpidi of the Lefkada Villas in Vafkeri. The special feature of this Villa, as well as of all other villas of this complex, is unbelievable, fantastic views on the panorama of the sea, of the Lefkas island, of many other smaller islands neighbouring the Lefkas’ East Coast, and of all green forests and valleys in front of your eyes. This view is, probably, the best one on Lefkas, but it is actually more than a view. Because there is nothing in front of the villas sitting on 550 height, rather than this vast magnificent space, you feel that it all belongs to you, that it is an unlimited continuation of your garden, your ‘front yard’.

All villas are managed and maintained by one company, which do a fantastic work keeping the villas in impeccable state, including swimming pool and small gardens belonging to the villas. Each villa has its own swimming pool. Although each villa is a part of the complex, it is not sitting on a common land: it has its own completely private space, not like in many other villa-complexes on the island.

The end of the row villa “Skorpidi” has no neighbours on the left side, so that the unlimited beautiful view and the forests ‘belong’ to you on its left side as well. The interior of the villa (with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and big living/dining room with a fire place) is very well designed and perfectly maintained, and it has all, up to tiny details, what may be need for a holiday stay of up to 6 people.

The ancient Vafkeri village is well connected by very comfortable, not difficult at all, roads to the town of Nidri on one side (16 min mild serpentine, easy drive), and to the popular, picturesque historic Village of Karya (8 min of practically flat drive), where one can find, restaurants and cafes, and various shops to purchase common needs. Both drives a picturesque, green, rich in changing views and atmosphere.

Reaching Nidri, one may drive to any beaches and bays of the island, on its East Coast, but one can alternatively drive to the spectacular West Coast (with its unlimitedly long sandy beaches and breath-taking views) through Karya.

Vafkeri itself has an old, friendly Taverna “Platanos”, by its pretty church square with a huge tree. Generally, exploring Greek Tavernas, particularly in less touristic places of the island, with their home made style cooking and family atmosphere, is a special memorable experience! The portions are hearty and the prices are very friendly: you can have a full dinner with wine and drinks for 2 people for altogether less than 40 Euros, and there will be always some sweet surprise of a drink or desert on-the-house.

Some 200 meter steep drive in Vafkeri, from the main road to the villas, may seem challenging at first, but the terrain is good quality, and the drive becomes very easy and performed automatically after a couple of rides, so itself it causes absolutely no problem. Very fast you will start to enjoy that the gem of a place you are staying is so hidden from by-passers. Our advice is just to learn this first stretch in the daytime!

The green island of Lefkas offers you many opportunities to explore and enjoy its different natural wonders and long walking routs. But the problem with staying in “Lefkada Villas” is that you are already in ‘paradise’, and on a sunny day (and almost most of the days there are such) you will think twice whether you should leave the place, or should be lazing by your pool with magnificent views...

We just got back yesterday from staying at the 'Sparti' Villa (at least that was the name of our WiFi) which was suitable for a couple and 2 children (one main bedroom and upstairs mezzanine with two single beds. Although mezzanine stairs very steap so not great for small kids or elders.||||The villa is about 20 mins outside of nidri up some winding roads but our phone sat nav took us straight there with no issues. I would recommened shopping in either nidri or the large Lidl in lefkada on your way.||||Nidri has smaller supermarkets on the main 'strip'. ||||We only saw our cleaner (Yota or Jota sorry if not spelled correctly) who sorted us out with tea and biscuits when we arrived. She was lovely. 10 out of 10 for her. Very helpful. She arranged what time she came in advance. She came everyday but most days we just opted for bins to be emptied.||||Car is a must. Walking to town not an option, trust me on that! ||||If you want somewhere to party this isn't the place for you. However if you want a nice quiet idyllic getaway with frankly some of the nicest views I have ever seen then I highly recommend. ||||Pool was great and surprisingly deep at the 'patio' end so perhaps not ideal for small children. Pool cleaned early each day and there is a net available for fishing out the odd critter which inevitably lands in.||||We loved our two week stay and it was exactly what we needed. Not a smart TV so if that's your thing take a tablet. WiFi was solid and fine for streaming etc. decent cooker and good size fridge freezer. Although kitchen was quite basic with no microwave we had no concerns. ||||Our only slight complaint is that beds were very hard. But that's a preference thing so not really a criticism. Air con worked a treat so it was nice to be cool at night as weather was hot hot hot every day.||||We tend not to go to same place twice so we likely won't return (it's a big world with lots to see) but wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you are after a breathtakingly beautiful quiet relax for a week or two.||||Be mindful of seeing a few critters such as grasshoppers etc this place is right in the middle of nowhere so you...
