We have stayed in the hotel this summer for 10 days. I have had phone calls with the manger prior to our booking as I was a bit concerned about the numerous bad reviews I found about the Hotel and specially the service. In the end, the stay was ok but nothing outstanding and for sure not "luxury" in Wilderness. We clearly expected much more! The rooms are very small and the veranda is furnished with Ikea furniture, so nothing really confortable that invites you to sit there. The bathroom is tiny and there was a bad smell coming out of the sink. An advantage is the coffee maker in the room. The overall cleanliness was not to our satisfaction. The bed was done every day and the bathroom cleaned but the surfaces were only done, if I requested. The veranda was never cleaned at all. A 0.5l pet bottle of water from the mini bar costs EUR 2.-! During the 10 day, no one of the management ever asked, if everything is ok. So my overall rating for the room is a 2. The breakfast service was funny. A lot of very young people with no experience and no briefing at all. No blame on them as you could feel that clear instructions are missing. There was a mess every morning to order food and it took very long to get a simple egg. The food that was offered for breakfast was good. The restaurant was always empty. I guess, everybody just eat there once and then never again. We once had dinner, got invited by the manager and then lunch on the next day. At lunch, the chef was sitting at the bar, smoking and seamed to be very annoyed, when we ordered and he had to go to the kitchen to prepare the meal. The food was mediocre and the prices quite high for Limnos. The overall rating for the restaurant and the service is a 2. The people at the kite station deserve a clear 5 star rating. The were very friendly, funny and from what I saw, the kite lessons are great. It is very well organized. The only negative thing are the prices for drinks, also here, EUR 2.- for a small bottle of water and EUR 5.- for a beer. I really hope that the management masters to increase service, cleaniness and friendliness as this could be a nice place to stay, specially, if you want to be close to...

We had very high hopes for Keros Blue. It was our first trip after the massive lockdowns of the pandemic.
Immediately after arriving in the hotel, we felt misinformed to say the least. A tiny pool that feels abandoned. A bunch of tiny rooms with uncanny resemblance to industrial containers. That's it! Not sure how you expect to spend your time with that. The booking site advertised a fitness center and a restaurant. I didn't see a fitness center in sight unless they call the beach - some 100m away - a fitness center. And a restaurant? Sure there is a deck where you grab breakfast but that's about it.
The rooms are tiny while one side is made of glass. This is a privacy issue which forces you to leave the curtains down all day. Not a big deal. Whats a bigger deal is that there is natural light coming through the glass and the curtains pretty much from 5-6 am. There is no way around it.
There is one thing about the hotel though that made us smile. The service. The service is hilariously bad standards. Understaffed with young people without any experience. Struggled to order coffee every single morning. Sometimes there was no cold water (really? under 45 degrees?). But quite frankly the place has such lack of management that you could see how desperate the service staff were. They - especially the new girl in the morning and George (i think) in the afternoon were amazing! Super polite, apologized for not being able to work faster, always professional.
The problem lies with hotel management. We stayed there for almost a week and saw the manager once. Not once i saw any direction from her to the rest of the staff. She wasn't there during breakfast when things were consistently falling apart.
This hotel has been a disaster for any standards. We cut our accomodation short and went to a different...
Read moreWe loved staying here , the rooms were comfortable , clean and cool. The decor was both unique and high quality. The inclusive breakfast was fantastic and the staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful people we have ever met on holiday and we’re been to lots of countries and stayed in some really high end hotels . The staff couldn’t do enough to help and no request was too much trouble for them.. |Luxury in the wilderness is true and we’d certainly visit again but might upgrade to a larger villa next time with a sea view ..||Limnos is an unspoilt island, that has not been overly commercialised like many other Greek islands have .||Two top tips ..||The island of Limnos has a lot to offer but you’ll need to hire a car to get around . Car hire, was at our request, booked by the hotel at the last minute and so availability was limited and a bit on the expensive side . I’d certainly book a car next time before going away ..||The breakfast and menu on offer during the day is excellent and anything you pay for ( not breakfast which runs until 11.00/11.30 and is included ) is really good value for money ..|There is food available in the evening but it’s a limited menu , it suited us but wouldn’t suit everyone.. again a car would give you lots of other options and we did go to some amazing restaurants which were also good value for money ..||Limnos is such a find and we are so pleased to have had the opportunity to visit this island in its...
