Paradiso Verde — Hotel in Lixouri Municipality

I stayed at Monte Verde Apartments, and my friends at Paradiso Verde (they are right next to each other, managed by the same family). It was wonderful for all of us. The accommodation is just a 7–8 minute drive from Lixouri, with a stunning view. In the morning, I couldn’t even sleep because the sunrise from the balcony was so beautiful. Truly spectacular.||The apartments are equipped with everything you need. The owners are very kind, and the lady in charge of cleaning is always around. Nobody bothers you, and you don’t have to pay any hotel tax, unlike some of our friends who stayed at hotels. On the last day, the agency picked us up at 4:00 p.m., and out of the whole group, we were the only ones allowed to keep our rooms until then.||The Paliki Peninsula—the one where Lixouri is located—is greener, more fertile, and perhaps a little closer to the main attractions. First of all I would like to draw your attention to the deceive that host Ms Anastasia tried to pull of during our check in. Namely, after we have paid everything via booking (price, taxes, etc.) and arrived we recived the phone call from Anastasia. She required from us to pay additional 150€ in the name of the alleged ‘eco tax’. She tried to convince us that gonverment passed the new regulations regarding eco taxes. When we refused to made ridiculous additional payment (which was nearly half of the full price), she said that we don’t need to pay anything else. So, take care on this obvious fraud. Also, the toilet cistern is not working, and on the terrace was wasps nest so it was not possible...

Ho soggiornato a Paradiso Verde con tutta la mia famiglia (5 persone). Ci hanno assegnato un intero appartamento che abbiamo trovato pulito, confortevole, con camere ampie e dotato di climatizzatore in tutti gli ambienti.|La struttura è situata in zona collinare molto tranquilla, con affaccio su di una vallata con vegetazione rigogliosa. Bellissimo colpo d'occhio. Dall'altro lato c'è accesso diretto alla strada.|La comunicazione col gestore è sempre stata veloce, pratica ed efficace.|Unica pecca è che nel bagno manca il bidet e la doccia è ricavata nella vasca da bagno con supporto a parete per il soffione. |È a 15 minuti di auto da Lixouri che, oltre a essere ricco di ristoranti e locali, è anche luogo di imbarco per Argostoli con piccoli traghetti interni. |Sconsiglio vivamente di cenare o pranzare nel ristorante situato nei pressi (Ladokolla). |Ci hanno servito carne riscaldata (forse cotta giorni prima) e qualcuno di noi è stato male. |Bellissima la spiaggia (di ciotoli) di Petani e quella di sabbia di Megas Lakos, entrambe a pochi chilometri di...
