Xenonas La Kasaria in Chaliki Aspropotamos lies in the middle of the National Park of Tzoumerka, Peristeri and Arachthos (Central Greece).It's a family run guesthouse on the edge of the pittoresque village. A great starting point for mountain walks or trekkings. The place has it's own small restaurant-bar and around the village square you will find a couple of other restaurants and bars. Read moreDimitris is an excellent host and a very nice person.||He drove us with his 4x4 to swimming places up the valley and to the Verliga alpine valley at 2000m altitude (for a fee - it takes over an hour).||He also willingly helped us with telephone calls and arrangements at our next hotel.||The accommodations were basic as expected, but with a great breakfast.||There were some issues with the piping in one of our rooms, so Dimitris did not charge for the night.||We will remember Chaliki and try to return in the month of May when it is cooler and the lake in...
