This hotel is well-priced for the room quality and amenities it provides, although prospective guests should be aware that it is far from the city center in a very residential area. Without a car, it would be tough to access the main tourist area/sites from this hotel. The neighborhood it's in is not unsafe (though it can seem a little sketchy at night because the surrounding buildings are pretty rundown-looking) but you won't find many shops, restaurants, or food markets around here.||||We were just passing through for a night (arriving from the Greek Islands and heading to Delphi in the AM), for which it worked out great. I would advise against making this your home base to explore Athens, though, since between this hotel's costs and the added expenses of a car rental you could likely find a nice AirBNB or private hostel room closer to the city center.||||One more thing: the breakfast here is a pretty bare-bones continental breakfast. We weren't impressed and opted to...
Read moreThe hotel is placed at about 10 km from the center of Athens, but the metro station is not far away. It is a quiet location, with its own parking, away from the city center crowd . The hotel offers more then expected considering the price and quotation: LCD-TV, 2 air-conditioning systems, shower-gel, soaps, even toothbrushes and toothpaste, bathrobes, slippers, etc. Internet Wi-Fi in the rooms with proper signal strength (if needed, you may receive a signal extender). The breakfast was the same everyday, quite basic but entirely sufficient and tasty. The personnel tried to be as helpful as possible. We sleep very good, due to the silence and the beds with orthopedic mattress. Very clean, and the towels were changed daily. The bath is small, but this is not a surprise for "standard" Greek hotels, so I will not consider an inconvenient. Also, the wardrobe is rather small, but no big deal if you are not...
Read moreWe stayed here for 5 nights. The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is clean, the beds comfortable but the breakfast was disappointing for me. Cheese, ham, cold boiled eggs. The Greek yoghurt with honey was amazing. There was also cereal, fruit and lovely crusty bread. It is a bit far from the city centre but the train station is 5 mins away. We negotiated the railways and Metro to get to Syntagma square where all the open top bus tours originate. This is well worth doing and we hopped on and off to see the attractions. Well worth seeing the changing of guards at the...
