KOUKOUNARI LUXURY APARTMENTS — Hotel in Municipality of Aegina

When in vacations (and especially in Greece) we, as a 3-member family, always prefer to stay in this type of lodgings (studios, fully equipped small houses). Without any doubt this was one of the best places we have ever stayed in! Aesthetically appealing, clean, spacious, safe for kids (we have an 8-years old), quiet... you name it. It is situated close to the sea (5 min by car - a lot of beaches to choose from), tavernas and a supermarket. Parking is of no concern (you just leave it in the premises of the estate. We (being Greeks and all...) like to cook (also during our vacations!!!). This was one of the best-equipped kitchens! There was nothing missing! Aside all amenities, the strong card of koukounari is its people. Always kind, helpful and trustworthy from the moment we booked the place until the last day of our stay. Staying at Koukounari exceeded our initial expectations.

The apartment was ultra clean, with every little detail that would make our stay more convenient being very well thought of.

We found everything that we needed in the apartment; the property in which it is located is spacious, with plenty of parking space, and with privacy; the owner has been super helpful and responsive at every interaction; plus, the apartment and the property are pet-friendly.

A wonderful location. I found the room clean, we had all the necessary facilities. It is quite close to the port of Suvala and the beach there, although we always used the car to get to the port or the beach. It is also relatively close to the monastery of Saint Hierarch Nectarios (an oasis of peace and prayer). The only dissatisfaction was that we checked in at 3:30 PM, when the cleaning was finished.
