Villa Elesia — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

Villa Elesia is an amazing and perfect place. We arrived at the villa as part of our family vacation and stayed on September 19 through September 24, 2019. We were 5 people in the villa. We were all pleased and felt at home from the first minute. The villa is new and very invested. The villa features a large, well-equipped and luxurious kitchen that included all the cooking and baking items we needed and even more. In addition, there is a living room in the villa, which the whole family pampered, with mountain and pool views. Moreover, there are different seating areas both inside and outside the house. In terms of the rooms, the parents got a room, our brother got a room and the girls sharesd a room together. There was even one extra room that we didn't use. All rooms have air conditioners and most rooms also have shower and toilet. The only downside was that the mattresses for some of the beds, especially the parents' bed, were hard, but we got over it. And we will continue with the benefits: the house had large balconies, ping pong table, utility room with washing machine, the villa was admirably clean. The staff is lovely! Nicos and Anastasia were just lovely and charming. They answered every question, problem and request we had, pamperes us with locally made fruits, chocolate and ouzo. In terms of the location of the villa: the street on which the villa is located is very quiet and pleasant to stay. It is located in the center of the island. 25 minutes drive to Plakias beach, 25 minutes drive to Preveli Beach, 40 minutes drive to Trioptera beach, we also drove to the beach in Balos for two and a half hours. A Perfect Stay in a Beautiful Villa! Our stay at this villa in Crete was absolutely wonderful. The villa itself is stunning — beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Anastasia, the owner, is the most gracious and kind host. She truly thought of every little detail to make our stay comfortable and memorable — from the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy bedrooms, modern bathrooms, and the thoughtfully arranged pool area.

She even surprised us with an amazing welcome basket full of local goodies, which was such a warm and personal touch. Throughout our stay, Anastasia was always available to assist with anything we needed and to recommend great attractions and hidden gems around the island.

The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing, yet only a 20–30 minute drive to some of Crete’s most beautiful beaches. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will certainly be coming back. Highly...

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen und schön. Anastasia hat eine wunderbar eingerichtete Villa, in der es an nichts fehlt. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, und es wurde an ganz viel anderes gedacht, wie Mückenspiralen oder aufblasbare Becherhalter für den Pool. Die Betten sind gemütlich, die Poolliegen hochwertig und selbst an ansprechende Dekoration wurde gedacht. Auch der Service rund um unseren Aufenthalt war aussergewöhnlich. Man konnte jederzeit mit Fragen und Bitten an Anastasia herantreten und sie antwortete immer zeitnah.

Die Villa liegt ca. 20 min von Rethymno und 90 min vom Flughafen Heraklion. Nach Chania benötigt man ca. 100 min. Das Baugebiet in dem die Villa steht ist ein wenig ausserhalb, was für wunderbare Ruhe sorgt. In kleinerem Abstand befinden sich drei Tavernen in denen man richtig gut essen kann. Auch die Strände im Süden der Insel sind gut erreichbar. Beim Joggen im Umland der Villa muss man sehr auf die Hunde der weiter entfernteren Nachbarn achten. Hier kann es vorkommen, dass ein großer Hund auf die Straße gelaufen kommt.

Ich war nun mittlerweile zum zweiten mal in dieser Villa und würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Es war ein richtig schöner Aufenthalt und Anastasia ist eine grandiose, tolle Gastgeberein. Vielen Dank für alles.

Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable and wonderful. Anastasia has a beautifully furnished villa with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully equipped, and she has thought of everything, from mosquito coils to inflatable cup holders for the pool. The beds are comfortable, the pool loungers are high quality, and even the attractive décor has been taken care of. The service during our stay was also exceptional. We could approach Anastasia with questions and requests at any time, and she always responded promptly.

The villa is located about 20 minutes from Rethymno and 90 minutes from Heraklion Airport. It takes about 100 minutes to get to Chania. The villa is located in a slightly remote area, which ensures wonderful peace and quiet. There are three taverns within walking distance where you can enjoy really good food. The beaches in the south of the island are also within easy reach. When jogging in the area surrounding the villa, you have to be very careful of the dogs belonging to neighbors who live further away. It is possible that a large dog may run out onto the road.

This was my second time staying at this villa and I would come back anytime. It was a really nice stay and Anastasia is a wonderful, great host. Thank you...
