We stayed for a week in the summer. It is superbly equipped, the best we’ve ever stayed at (and we often do this!). We enjoyed walking straight out of the door into the village which is attractive and with a kafenion in the square. In the house there is an unusual and interesting mezzanine floor with a little desk where we often used our PCs. This opens onto the big roof terrace with great views over the lovely Amari valley – looking quite English with its fields and hedges – and to the majestic Psiloritis on the other side. Downstairs we loved the shady cool covered terrace outside the living room where we had most of our meals. Good tavernas to eat at are Mosco Volies in Meronas, and Aravanes, in Thronos. We did our shopping at the wide range, well stocked supermarket in Ag Fotini, about 10 mins drive away. And there are some lovely walks along paths and unused tracks right around the valley floor. Nikos looked after all our needs and he and Christina were very concerned that everything should be right for us and that nothing should get in the way of enjoying...

We have stayed at Amari Krini House on a few occasions and each time has been amazing. Communication with Nikos and Christina has always been superb, and they are amazing hosts who support you and then leave you to enjoy the house and the area. The house is beautiful and very well provisioned. We enjoyed sitting on the sunroof area of a daytime, and then had a meal at the downstairs, outside, table. The beds are extremely comfortable and the ablutions very clean. Having such a beautiful home for ourselves (along with private parking) made our holidays a real treat. The coast is only a very easy 45 minute drive either North or South and there are plenty of historic sites nearby too.
