I stayed with my family for 7 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner included), and we were very disappointed. We would never go back or recommend it to anyone else I found seven dirty plates, while eating dinner, usually with chocolate or sugar In the beach, they had offered us refreshment facial towels, one had a long hair and another was dirty The food offered is indifferent. Chicken, potatoes, spaggeti, some short of meat and readymade pies. Everything lucks taste, my kid would not eat most of the stuff. The salads luck creativity, you a couple of standards and then you can make your own combining things. Certainly not worth the money. Only filtered and greek coffee is included in breakfast, not espresso. If you want an espresso then it is 4 euros extra. If you take it on the beach though it is 2.90 Apart from the swimming pool, there is nothing else for grownups to do in the hotel. There is a playroom for the kids with one person to watch them. They had some activities for the kids, like darts, movies etc, but they don’t have any facilities to support them. There is a play room for grownups, but most of the stuff there are either not working or in a poor condition, for example there are no working cues for the pool table. The receptionist blamed the kids for breaking them!! The air- conditioning broke down and I had to call someone at 04:00. To his credit, the maintenance guy was in our room within 15’ and worked until 07:00 to fix it. On the other hand we did not get any sleep and missed breakfast. One morning my kid didn’t want to wake up, so I tried to take some breakfast to the room to my wife (bread, marmalade, boiled eggs), but the chef said that it is not allowed because of the hotel policy. The official hotel policy doesn’t mention anything about it, it only has about 10 policies about charges. When I complaint, they said it is for health and sanity reasons as they are ISO and HACCP compliant. These standards do not forbid you to have food in the room thought. On the other hand, you can order breakfast by double paying it and have and additional charge of 20%. Wi-Fi was not working for 5 days, although the receptionist was trying to convince me that the problem was mine only. All the residents I spoke with had the same issue. In the end I spoke with their technician and he confirmed their problem. When it was fixed eventually, it was too slow to work with VPN or my kid to watch videos They say that it is walking distance to the beach. It is 700m, so it is not recommended to walk with a kid and 4 bugs, under 35degrees. We had to use the hotel van for transportation They made a mistake in the bill and charged us 570euros less. Don’t ask me why I told them, but double check yours before you leave. All personnel was very polite, except from the receptionist
I would never go back to that hotel, and I am very sad that I wasted all that money to spend half of my vacations there. All the people that we discussed with in the hotel shared the same...
Read moreWe came to the olympia golden beach for a arranged 10 day stay in late September. We felt most welcome, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lush but pretty standard, nothing special, in contrast to the appearance of the rest of the place. They have a bar in the middle of a pool, a nice place to stay, however don't expect all too much of the cocktails. The pools are exceptional in my view, even when shared. The beach is about half a kilometer away, if you are lucky you can catch a transport, in case you don't like the 10 minute walk among the dunes. The beach is wonderful, very tidy, and the house offers free loungers and sunshades. The next village is Kastro, some 5 kilometers away, where you can find some restaurants which are ok (I especially recommend the Kafeneio Steki for refreshments). Basically any other interesting site is at least a 45 minute drive away. I find this place too remote to explore the Peloponnes, but I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice...

Do NOT trust the pictures online, they are deceiving. The room furniture was old and tatty, and need deep renovating. It felt like we were transported back to the ‘70s… def not up to standard for a 5 star hotel. The room is closer to a 3 star rating.
We found ants in the kitchenette, no working aircon in 37 degree heat, dirt under my daughters cot and black human hair on the floor.
Needless to say we couldn’t bear to stay at this hotel in 37 degree heat as our 6 month old was getting a heatstroke. They didn’t make any effort to make it easier by moving us to an air conditioned area while waiting for the aircon to be fixed or offering some drinks. We left after 2 hours and the hotel KEPT our deposit, whilst being completely unapologetic.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend and absolutely not worth the money. The area has a number of other 5 star hotels, would def recommend to go somewhere else like the...
