Erotokritos Sea View Home — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

My Greek partner, our Swiss friends and I stayed at Erotokritos` place for one week in early October, and we absolutely LOVED it! Located beautifully 650 meters above Agios Gordios, with the most wonderful sea view, the house is also very well equipped with literally anything that you can think of. The whole apartment is impeccably clean, the kitchen also provides big and small kitchen appliances. Not only is there a big American fridge with freezer, welcome water, and a nice bottle of wine; but also an oven and glass ceramic stove, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, electric kettle, mixer, coffee machine, etc., also provides you with different teas, coffee, many spices, sugar, stevia ... there is a washing machine, air condition, and Erotokritos and his family provide beach equipment such as towels, beach umbrellas, and snorkeling masks. There are two bedrooms with one bathroom with a bathtub, fully equipped, on the ground floor. Upstairs, under the roof, there are another two single beds and a smaller bathroom that is ideal especially if you have kids. There are so many books in English and some in other languages, a fireplace, huge TV, internet - it is quite hard to actually leave the house and not just hang out there. Two balconies provide one of the most gorgeous sea views, so the name is absolutely justified. And the sunsets are incredible. Erotokrios and his family are perfect hosts, they will answer all your questions, and they are ever so helpful. It literally is "HOME AWAY FROM HOME".

One thing you really do need unless you are extremely fit is a car. Walking down to the beach is absolutely possible; returning to the house may be pushing it for most of us. Plus you will probably want to explore the surrounding villages and beaches.

Leaving after one beautiful week was not easy, we could easily have stayed for the rest of the month! Erotokritos even gave us a farewell gift, a cute little box with coasters that had prints of the truly amazing sea view, plus another bottle of wine.

It is the sum of all those little details which made our stay at the Sea View Home truly unforgettable. Many thanks to Erotokritos and his family - we definitely plan on being back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Corfu! The house was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed: dishes, stove, oven, grill, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, vacuum cleaner – everything was at hand. There were two terraces: we enjoyed breakfast on one while admiring the sea view, and relaxed in the evening on the other, which had a different but equally stunning view, with the sea in the distance. We were also very lucky to have Erotokritos’ recommendations – thanks to him, we discovered some of the most beautiful beaches and excellent tavernas. We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful Corfu house! The place is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly imagine. It was just unbelievable how well prepared our host was! Not to mention how communicative and friendly he is! We can’t thank him enough for the hospitality, for the breathtaking views and all the great memories we shared. Can’t recommend Erotokritos’s house enough!
