G.K.K. House private swimming pool corfu greece — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

In June we booked the house, we were 6 people staying for 7 nights during which we enjoyed the location as if it were our own home. The first impression the house leaves you is of cleanliness and comfort. We found a large, spacious, extremely clean house, furnished and equipped with everything needed. Each room and even the hall were equipped with air conditioning. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, electric oven, large refrigerator, large terrace with barbecue, made our vacation very pleasant. But we realized from the beginning that it is nothing purely accidental because from the moment we arrived at our destination, a very beautiful family was waiting for us. Full of energy and cheerfulness, they welcomed us very nicely, with cold drinks. Their child welcomed our child with a set of toys to enjoy during the vacation. They quickly introduced us to the house and all its facilities and then we saw each other again when we were leaving when they came to personally say goodbye to us. We were happy to meet a young, beautiful family, full of energy, always responsive on the phone, always ready to help us with information about the best restaurants and beaches. Also the parking place offered us the safety of the car throughout the vacation. The house looks great, new, modern and elegant, also super clean. It was very spacious for us as one family. Setup is very practical also for 2 families, having at the ground floor kitchen/ dining/ living/ small bathroom and at the first floor a big beautiful bathroom and the rooms grouped in 2 ‘apartments’: one big room + one small adjacent with baby bed, separately another 2 big rooms. The owners are super friendly and helpful - they gave us tips on beaches & restaurants but also helped on practical small stuff – from providing a corkscrew to helping us get take away food one evening. Also appreciated: having water for all our stay there, so we didn't need to carry ourselves. Location is close to several beaches & attractions (15-30min drive). Palaiokastritsa is the closest, beautiful yet very touristic and crowded during Jul/Aug. We preferred the less crowded sandy beaches like Arillas, Kontagialos. Giannis and his family were very kind and friendly, we had a nice welcome. They presented us the house, which was very clean, modern and all the furniture was new (the villa looks exactly like the pictures). The owners gave us a short introduction on how to use all the appliances, which was very useful. Since we were traveling with a child they were so thoughtful to share some legos and puzzles. We appreciate that they left us fruits and water (we were traveling as a group of 6 and the water was enough for all seven days of vacation).
