Mythic Olive villa — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Fantastic stay! This is our 2nd stay at Mythic Olive villa (5 years apart). My family felt comfortable and at home straight away, the villa is light and spacious. The outside area is lovely, with beautiful flowers and trees all around; the bbq was easy to use, there were lots of seating areas to eat and chill outside. Therre were swings and toys for our daughter to play with outside, as a family we played basketball and table tennis. The pool area is also lovely, with lots of sun loungers and a hammock. The views are beautiful from the villa as its on a hill top. You need a car to truly make the most of your stay here though. Location was great for us as we love visiting the old venetian habour which took only takes 15 minutes to get there even with traffic. Driving to the beaches was also easy from villa. We really enjoyed our stay here and Maria (who by the way is a great host) was kind enough to show us the new part (downstairs) at the villa, so villa can accommodate bigger groups and it is absolutely beautiful. I was there with my family, eight adults and four children in June 2024. It was absolutely amazing. Gorgeous house and good beds and everything was perfect, large and beautiful garden and great view. The swimming pool and children's pool were very useful in the heat wave we had, nice sunbeds with good mattresses, playground for children, entertainment for adults both basketball and table tennis. Great outdoor charcoal grill that we used a lot. You need a car there. 10-15 minutes to the center of Chania. Everything was perfect. I want to come back. Me and my family (group of 10 with 3 kids) stayed in Maria’s villa for a week and had an amazing experience. Maria is super friendly and hospitable and very responsive. She will go above and beyond to make sure you are not missing anything and feel comfortable. Location is great too, super quiet and peaceful with amazing sunsets. 10-15 drive to nice beaches and to the city of Chania. Bottom line- highly...
